No one knows exactly when jazz was invented, or by whom. But it is said that it began in the early 1900s. Jazz was a new kind of music, for America and the world, and New Orleans was its birthplace.

Wukong, Tiangong, Tianwen… Do you know where the names of Chinese space programs come from?
Wukong, the Dark Matter Particle Explorer satellite (暗物质粒子探测卫星), is named after Chinese superhero Monkey King. According to Journey to the West, Monkey King has a pair of sharp eyes which can tell the difference between good and evil. The Wukong satellite is just as sharp-eyed as Monkey King to help scientists search for dark matter in space.
The name of the space station, Tiangong, means “Heavenly Palace”. In Chinese myths, this is the home of Tian Di. Now Tiangong Space Station is a home for Chinese astronauts in space. And China welcomes foreign astronauts to Tiangong so that they can work together.
Tianwen, China’s Mars missions (任务), gets its name from the poem Tianwen by Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan is a well-known poet from ancient China. In Tianwen, he had the questions about the sky, stars, nature, myths and the real world, showing his hunger for truth. Perhaps the Tianwen missions will end up answering some of Qu Yuan’s questions.
If you look into more names of Chinese space programs, you will find that they all have beautiful meanings. We, the Chinese people, have a long-cherished (珍藏已久的) space dream. So the naming of Chinese space programs is taken very seriously.

Are you an “I” person or an “E” person? We hear this question a lot these days. In fact, these are two personality types based on the MBTI test. “I” refers to “introverted” and “E” refers to “extroverted”. Generally speaking, an “I” person is shy and quiet, while an “E” person is outgoing.
So what is the MBTI test? It’s a personality test that helps us better understand our personality preferences (性格偏好) and tells us how we relate to the world around us. It was developed in the 1940s by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers.
When you take the MBTI test, you are presented with several sets of questions. They cover all aspects of your behavior, preferences and thought processes. For each question, you need to choose the answer that best matches your feelings, attitudes (态度) and behavior. Then you'll know what your personality type is. Now click https://www.16 personalities.com/free—personality—test to learn about your MBTI type.
The MBTI test is popular for many reasons. Let’s take a closer look at just a few. First, people want to understand themselves. Human personality is very complex (复杂的), and this test provides a simple way for people to learn about themselves. Next, taking the MBTI test is relaxing and enjoyable, because its questions are interesting. Then, people try to find connections. The MBTI test offers a way to go beyond small talk and connect with others on a deeper level. Last but not least, while there are many kinds of personality tests on the market, the MBTI test is the most widely recognized.
The MBTI test may show something we don’t know about ourselves and can be a fun way to help us make new friends. But knowing someone’s MBTI results doesn’t mean we really know that person. Nor do the MBTI results define who we are.

【答案】
Rules of My School
There are many rules in my school. I am glad to share my school rules with you.
In my school, everyone needs to wear school uniforms and get to school on time. As middle school students, we should be strict with ourselves and be serious about the homework. Besides, we are told to treat our school as our home and every student has the responsibility to protect our school environment. What’s more, we also need to keep our classroom clean and tidy. So the classroom must be cleaned every day. In order to protect our safety, we are not allowed to run after other students in school hallways. Playing on the stairways isn’t allowed either. We should get along well with our classmates.
