一、教材分析
本单元的主题是“Our Hobbies”,通过对各种爱好的讨论,学习了过去进行时等语法知识以及与爱好相关的词汇和句型。本节课是对本单元的复习,旨在帮助学生巩固所学知识,提高语言运用能力。
二、学情分析
经过一段时间的英语学习,八年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础和语言运用能力。他们对英语学习有一定的兴趣,但在语法的理解和运用上还存在一些困难。此外,学生在口语表达和书面表达方面也需要进一步的训练和提高。
三、教学目标
1. 知识目标
学生能够正确拼写和运用本单元的重点词汇,如“beginning, end, fond, lake, fun, song, son”等。
学生能够熟练掌握和运用本单元的重点短语和句型,如“be angry with, be excited about, prefer...to..., used to do...”等。
学生能够正确运用过去进行时描述过去某个时刻正在进行的动作。
2. 能力目标
能够听懂与爱好相关的对话和短文,并获取关键信息。
能够用英语流利地谈论自己和他人的过去和现在的爱好。
能够根据所给提示,完成书面表达,描述自己的爱好。
3. 情感目标
培养学生对英语学习的兴趣和积极性。
引导学生培养健康、有益的爱好,丰富课余生活。
四、教学重难点

五、教学方法
为了实现教学目标,突破教学重难点,我将采用以下教学方法:
1. 任务型教学法:通过设计各种任务,让学生在完成任务的过程中学习和运用语言知识。
2. 情景教学法:创设真实的语言情景,让学生在情景中感受和理解语言,提高语言运用能力。
3. 合作学习法:组织学生进行小组合作学习,培养学生的合作意识和团队精神,共同完成学习任务。
六、教学过程
(一)Warming up (2 分钟)
1. Greetings and free talk
T: Good morning, class! How are you today?
Ss: Good morning, teacher! We are fine, thank you.
T: What did you do last weekend?
Ss: I did my homework / I went shopping / I played basketball...
2. Sing an English song about hobbies
T: Now, let's sing an English song about hobbies together.
(二)Presentation (5分钟)
1. Show some pictures of hobbies on the PPT and ask students to guess the hobbies.
T: Look at these pictures. Can you guess what hobbies they are?
Ss: Reading / Drawing / Swimming...
2. Present the key words and phrases of this unit.
T: Here are some words and phrases about hobbies. Let's read them together.
Ss: Beginning, end, fond, be angry with, be excited about, prefer...to..., used to do...
(三)Practice (10 分钟)
1. Fill in the blanks and read these sentences aloud. Pay attention to the difference in pronunciation between the two words.
I like the beginning of the movie. (and/end)
Kangkang is fond of the music _ in the QQ music. (found/fond)
Arested at the bank of the__lake__. (lake/snake)

Ask students to fill in the blanks independently, then check the answers together and read the sentences aloud.
2. Fill in the blanks with the correct form of each word or phrase in the box.

Miss Wang was angry with me because I made faces and made my classmates laugh.
Students complete the exercises individually, then have a peer check. Finally, the teacher explains the key points and difficult points.

2. Ask your partner about his/her hobbies in the past and now, using the following words and phrases. Then report the result to your class.

Students work in pairs to have the conversation and then some students report to the class.
(五)Listening and writing (10 分钟)
1. 4b Listen to the reports of your classmates and complete the paragraph.

七、教学反思
在本节课的教学中,我通过多种教学方法和活动,引导学生积极参与学习,较好地完成了教学目标。但在教学过程中,也存在一些不足之处,比如在小组活动中,部分学生参与度不够高,今后应加强对这部分学生的关注和引导。此外,在教学时间的把控上还需要进一步改进,确保各项教学任务能够顺利完成。
