Students are required to represent the whole picture in written words by describing what can be seen and analyzing what can be implied. Why：This lesson is designed to guide students analyze things from the external appearance to the internal essence and thereby encourages students to develop their critical thinking abilities during their learning process. How：Two pictures consist of two parts: what can be seen and what can be implied. The sample writing consists of four parts: 1) general introduction; 2) description of the picture; 3) the analysis of the picture and persons; 4) the lessons from the picture. Part one and two are to represent what can be seen in the picture, while part three and four are to represent what can be implied. The whole structure of the sample writing follows the cognitive levels, enabling readers to observe picture to gain a holistic understanding and specific details, then exploring the main theme that details reveal, and ultimately prompting self-reflection on their own lives. 学情分析 The class is from Senior two. Students are not able to accurately use the basic structure and language of the pictures described in English. They are able to grasp the general idea of the article and extract relevant details, but their English level is medium and their language understanding ability needs to be improved. Teachers are required to guide students to analyze the structure of the text, provide examples to obtain the required information and language, and complete the writing task. 学习目标 1. Discuss with your partner. (1) What do you see in the picture? (2) How would you describe the boy on the left and the boy on the right? (3) What lesson do you think the picture is trying to teach us? 引入主题，激发学生兴趣。 Step 2: Read for Writing Step 2 Reading Task1：Look at the picture B with the following questions and conclude the main idea of each paragraph. 1. What is the weather like? 2. Where is the man? 3. What is the man doing? 4. Why is this an odd thing to do?
