Maisie loved Moggie and Moggie loved Maisie. Meow! They played together. They worked in the garden together. They watched TV together. Everywhere Maisie went, Moggie went, too. Moggie even went to the neighborhood shops with Maisie. Then one morning, Moggie was missing. Maisie searched everywhere. She looked on her bed. She looked on her chair. She looked in the cupboard. She looked under the stair. But Moggie was nowhere to be found. Maisie looked all around the neighborhood. She asked the policeman, "Have you seen Moggie?" No. She asked the librarian, "Have you seen Moggie?" No. She asked the firemen, "Have you seen Moggie?" No. She asked the mail carrier, "Have you seen Moggie? No. She asked the baker, "Have you seen Moggie?" But nobody had seen Moggie. Maisie walked home sadly. When Maisie went inside her house, she had a lovely surprise. There was Moggie in her basket! Then Maisie had a second surprise. "Oh Moggie!" she cried. And Moggie purred and purred. What happened in this book? Unit 3: My Neighborhood Where Is Moggie?
