Unit 2 The WWF is working hard to save them all .教案 一.主题语境 人与自然,自然生态,环境保护 教材分析( Analysis of the teaching materials ) What :本单元文章选自八年级上册第六模块的第二单元。文章讲述的是现今我国大熊猫的现状,包括熊猫数量,生存环境,生活习性以及政府和世界自然基金会对大熊猫保护采取的措施和行动。文章最后,介绍了世界自然基金会( WWF )及其存在的重要意义﹣﹣对濒危动物的保护。 Why :本单元文章旨在号召人们多多关爱地球上的濒危动物,保护环境和地球。介绍 WWF 也更好的拓展学生的视野,丰富了其相关知识储备。 How :文章采用4个自然段,结构清晰。第一段开门见山讲述熊猫属于濒危动物:第二段阐述熊猫濒危的内在原因和外在原因。第三段介绍人类(政府、自然公园、科学家等)对大熊猫的保护措施。直到最后一段说明世界自然基金会对动物的保护。文章包括动物保护相关的词汇: research , baby , scientist , produce , in order to 等;同时,也有其相关的表达,如" In order to protect pandas in the wild , the government is setting up nature park and developing other plans ."等。 二.学情分析( Analysis of the students ) Know : 1.本模块的大话题是 Animals in danger ,是七年级 visit the zoo 的升级版,因此学生对动物这一话题并不陌生。U1语篇是谈论动物园里的动物现状及人类活动对动物的影响和保护措施,U2语篇是对熊猫等各种濒危动物的情况和保护措施的分析。因此在U1,所以学生很有兴趣去参与讨论和展示; 2.学生在前一个模块对动词不定式" to do "的结构已有认识,能够在正确使用作为动词宾语的" to do ",并熟记常接" to do "的动词。因此学生对于文章中 to do 结构的理解难度不大。 Want : 学生想要了解更多关于濒危动物的现状以及进一步了解动物濒危的原因和解决措施。 Learn : 学生通过学习此课,了解到不定式 to do 以及目的状语 to do , in order to 结构。 三.教学目标( Teaching aims ) By the end of the class , students will be able to : 1.know about the information and difficult situation of pandas and analyze the reason why pandas are in danger . 2.figure out the actions people do to help pandas and master the infinitive structure " to do / in order to do " to express purpose .3.Come up with some ways to protect animals and write a report to introduce another animal in danger . 4. improve the awareness of protecting animals in danger and call on more people to protect the environment . 四.教学重、难点( Key points and difficulties ) Teaching key points : 1. know about the information and difficult situation of pandas and analyze the reason why pandas are in danger . 2. figure out the actions people do to help pandas and master the infinitive structure " to do / in order to do " to express purpose .
