话题阅读
Ⅰ.阅读理解
Passage 1[2024山东烟台改编]
A Long March 5 rocket took off from the Wenchang Space Launch
Site in Hainan Province on May 3, 2024. After flying for about 37
minutes, it successfully placed the Chang'e 6 robotic lunar probe
(月球探测器) into an Earth-moon transfer trajectory (转移轨道).
Several days later the probe was programmed to land on the moon's far
side and started its tasks, which would last about 53 days.
14
This is the world's first try to bring samples from the moon's far
side. For China, it's the second sample-return moon journey. Chang'e 5
successfully brought samples from the moon in the winter of 2020. Up
to now, 10 moon sample-return tasks have been carried out by the United
States, the former Soviet Union (前苏联) and China, but all these
samples were collected from the moon's near side.
The moon's far side has always been a subject of scientific wonder
because of its many mysteries. It's facing away from Earth and it can
never be seen from Earth. It was once called the “dark side of the moon”
even though it receives just as much sunlight as the near side.
Chinese researchers have found that the soil on the far side is much
thicker than that on the near side, but they haven't found out the reason.
Samples brought back by Chang'e 5 have helped scientists find that there
were volcanic (火山的) activities on the near side around 2 billion
years ago. Some scientists thought maybe volcanoes became inactive on
the far side about 4 billion years ago. Is it true? Samples from the far
side will allow them to know the answer.
“Comparing the make-up of the far side samples from Chang'e 6
with those collected from the near side will be of great scientific value
to the international community,” said Martin Sweeting, a famous professor
of space engineering.

Passage 2[2024四川广安]
What will the world of tomorrow be like? Many people today
believe that technology is going to help solve some problems we have
today. New technology may solve old problems, and it may also create
new ones. No technology is perfect. Each has advantages and
disadvantages. Here are three examples.
When we dream about the future, many of us think that we will be
able to fly to the sky in our own flying cars. We could fly at 480 km
22
per hour, avoiding traffic lights and busy roads. However, if too many
flying cars are in the air, there will be trouble with traffic control.
3D printing is another new technology for the future. 3D printers are
already used to make life-size models of car parts(部件), and man-
made body parts, like ears. As we move into the future, 3D printing will
change the way we make things and the way we treat sick people. The
disadvantage is that such a machine is very expensive.
Finally, people are trying to make a robot suit(套装). This is an
electronic suit. It allows people to lift heavy things and walk a long way.
It might help people walk again after an illness or an accident. However,
one disadvantage at the moment is the cost.
It is easy to imagine a future. We will be able to fly to work, print
out a new pair of shoes or lift a car above our heads. Although there
are some problems to solve, we can certainly dream of a world. In this
world, technology makes people's life easier and safer, and it can solve
some of the most difficult problems we have today.

Ⅱ.阅读表达
Passage 1[2024河北改编]
Nature has many ways to solve problems. We humans
learn a lot from animals and plants in nature. There is a
science about how we copy great ideas from animals and plants to create
helpful products. It is called biomimetics(仿生学).
30
Some animals such as this sugar glider have wing-like structures
(结构) to help them fly from tree to tree. When they jump, they
spread out their arms and legs to help them fly down easily. Wing-suits,
a kind of clothes, can let people experience flying. The idea of these
clothes comes from the sugar glider.
Some animals have structures used for self-protection. An armadillo
has a hard cover that can protect it from other dangerous animals. When
an armadillo feels that it is in danger, it will change into a ball. Once
the dangerous animal goes away, it comes out of the ball. The armadillo
has taught people to create a backpack with a hard surface. The surface
of the backpack protects things inside from being broken.
Plants have helped people come up with amazing inventions, too.
Perhaps the best-known example is Velcro(尼龙搭扣). It includes two
pieces of cloth. They stick to each other when they are pressed together.
Velcro is used on everything from handbags to clothes. The idea of
Velcro is from burrs(带芒刺的小果实) of a plant. They have special
structures to allow themselves to stick to people's clothing or hair. They
are taken to other places in this way.
From these examples, we can see biomimetics is widely used in our
daily life. What other problems will nature help us solve in the future?
Let's wait and see!

Passage 2
Many of us reach news every day is probably because we'd like to
know what's happening in the world. Today we can get news from TV
or the Internet, but how did ancient people get news?
At the very beginning, information was spread by word of mouth.
People living in tribes(部落) got news from neighbors or travelers.
Ancient Romans changed the way people knew about their communities.
They posted a list of daily happenings at public squares in the cities.
37
Ancient Chinese people did it in another way. The government had news
sheets sent to officials in the whole country so people could know what
was going on in the capital.
The fifteenth century saw big progress in printing technology in the
west. The progress brought a sudden rise of news business. Printers sold
whatever people loved to read. In the sixteenth century, the first real
newspaper appeared. People started to form the habit of reading newspapers.
They liked to share their opinions on newspapers. The invention of
telegraph(电报) machines led to another big step in history. News stories
were sent to the paper in minutes instead of weeks.
Now we get news in seconds from all over the world. We can
become some kind of reporters by posting online what happens around us.

Passage 3
Do you know digital(数字化的) technology? It is a modern
technology which is convenient. If there's any modern technology that can
make traditional Chinese music alive forever, it must be digital technology.
Recently, a digital protection project for traditional Chinese
instrumental music was created. The purpose of the project is to make
traditional Chinese music alive again by using digital technology to
restore and keep the original audio sources(原始音频源). Basing on
43
these sources, people are able to create digital albums(专辑), social
media mini programs and game background music. These are all ways of
making the music pass down.
The first traditional instrument to get this kind of rebirth was an old
set of bianzhong. It was the largest set of bianzhong ever discovered in
China. This made it really challenging for the team members. “This is
the first time that I have ever seen such an unexpected form of music,”
said the sound designer Zhang Xin.
To perfectly restore the sounds of the bianzhong, the team members
thought over and did a number of tests. Yang Jie, another designer from
the studio said, “At first, we tried to work out where we should put the
recording microphones(显微镜) after reading a lot of papers. But only
when we were there did we realize how hard this job was.”
The team tried many ways and they were finally able to collect 613
sounds in total. So far, they've used the bianzhong's sounds in a new
album which includes nine songs designed to help you relax with
traditional Chinese music.
