The teacher can introduce his/her daily routine by showing pictures on PPT. Step 2　Pre-listening 1. Work on 1a：Ask students to look at the pictures and ask them to match the clocks with the times. Step 3 While-listening 1. Work on 1b: Ask students to listen to the conversation and tick Peter's activities in the morning. Check the answers: get dressed, brush his teeth. 2. Work on 1c: Ask students to listen to the second conversation，and match the names with the reasons. Check the answers: 1. Peter---on duty 2. Han Lin---do some reading before class 3. Work on 1d : Ask students to listen to the two conversations again and fill in the blanks. （2）Ask students to read the listening scripts and find out the key sentence patterns.
