(2)Present some pictures of Guilin, such as the Lijiang River,the Reed Flute Cave.Ask the students if they have ben to this city, and what they think about it Step 2 Fast reading(快速阅读) Guilin (1) Present the following questions and get the students to scan the passages about Guilin and answer the questions ①Which province is Guilin in?(Guangxi) ②Is Guilin in the north or south of China?(South) ③Are there mountains and rivers in Guilin?(Yes.) ④How can you travel in Guilin?(By bike or boat.) (2) Play the recording of Guilin and get the students to listen and find out the difficulties. Give them necessary explanations. (3) Play the recording again for the students to listen and repeat Step 3 Practice(操练) (1) Get the students to finish Part B3 in pairs.
