A textbook drama called Yu Gong Moves the Mountains will be held in the music hall on Sunday. It’s about an old man called Yu Gong. There were two high mountains near his home. They were so high that it took him a long time to walk to the other side. So he decided to move the mountains. Yu Gong and his family began to move the mountains. They kept moving them day after day, year after year. Finally, a god was so moved that he took the mountains away. The story reminds us that nothing is impossible as long as we work hard. We should not give up.
I hope all of you come to enjoy it and give us some advice.
Thanks for your attention!

第二节:听下面两段材料,包括一篇独白和一段对话,每段材料后有几道小题。请根据材料的内容,从题目所给的三个选项中选出问题的正确答案。每段材料读两遍。
听第1 段材料,回答第11、12 小题。
A long time ago, several people got a pot of wine and each of them wanted to drink it alone. So they made a rule. Everyone would draw a snake with a stick on the ground and the one to finish first would drink the wine. Soon, one of them finished his drawing. When he picked up the wine, he saw the others were still busy drawing so he decided to add feet to his snake. But before he finished, another man finished his picture and took away the pot. He said, “Snakes have no feet, so the wine should be mine.” Then he drank all the wine. The story tells us that going too far is as bad as not going far enough.
听第2 段材料,回答第13 至15 小题。
M: Hey, Lisa, long time no see. What are you busy doing these days?
W: Oh, Allen, I’m planning to write a story.
M: Really? What is it about?
W: It’s about a girl called Jenny. She is a reporter. And she is fighting to help the weak.
M: It sounds like a good story. When will you finish it?
W: I plan to finish it in July.
M: Great! Come on. I’m looking forward to reading it.
