重点句式讲解
1.It+系动词+形容词+what从句.
(教材P109)Isn't it amazing what the human mind and body are capable of?
人类的大脑和身体所能做到的难道不令人惊奇吗?
[句式分析] 此句是一个否定疑问句,以反问的形式表示肯定,其中what引导主语从句,it是形式主语。
❶It is uncertain what the students do with all the information.
不确定学生们如何处理所有这些信息。
❷It is by no means clear what the president can do to end the strike.
总统能采取什么措施来结束罢工,这一点儿都不清楚。
[误区警示]
what在句中作主语、宾语或表语;如果不缺成分,没有含义,用that引导;如果不作成分,表示“是否”,则用whether引导;如果缺状语,可用how,where,when等引导。

2.反意疑问句
(教材P109)It's incredible, isn't it?太不可思议了,不是吗?
[句式分析] 此句运用了反意疑问句。
反意疑问句由两部分组成:前一部分是一个陈述句,后一部分是一个简短的疑问句,两部分的人称、时态应保持一致。
(1)陈述部分肯定式+疑问部分否定式
(2)陈述部分否定式+疑问部分肯定式
(3)若陈述部分含有seldom,hardly, never,few,nothing等否定词或半否定词,其疑问部分要用肯定式。
(4)若陈述部分含有带否定前缀如un-,im-,dis-的词,疑问部分仍用否定式。
❶The lawyer wouldn't believe you, would he?
那位律师不相信你的话,是吗?
❷He said nothing to the waiting journalists,did he?
他对等候的记者什么也没说,是吗?
❸Meeting again is impossible except in a dream, isn't it?

【易混辨析】
时态 含义
现在完成时
(have/has done) 强调的是某个刚刚完成的动作或某个动作对现在的影响或产生的结果。
现在完成进行时
(have/has been doing) 表示过去的动作持续到现在并有可能延续下去,也可表示重复性动作,还可表示某种感情色彩。
I have been writing a letter. 我一直在写一封信。(还在写)
I have written a letter. 我已经写了一封信。(已写完)
