Do you think education is important? What benefits can it bring?----personal and social development 2、 Step1 Brainstorm Watch the video about Obama’s back-to-school speech. What’s his answer to the question: Why is education important? Ask Ss to talk about the question in pairs. 3、 Step2 Listening Pre-listening: Clear word obstacles List the words or any expressions that students may not know and that may influence their understanding. While-listening: Listen to the dialogue1 and complete the Text Builder. Listen to the dialogue2. Complete the table and the diagram.
