三、Learner Characteristics Analysis
The students in grade eight have already mastered some basic English language knowledge and skills, and have the ability to have simple conversations. They are at an age where they start to think about their future and have certain ideas and expectations. However, they may have limited vocabulary and expressions when describing their future careers. Therefore, in teaching, teachers should provide sufficient language input and guidance to help students express themselves accurately and fluently.

Li Ming hopes to be a teacher. He would be nice to his students. He wouldn't give his students too much homework on weekends.
Wang Mei hopes to be a doctor like her mother. She would help sick children.
