The listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks in this unit are designed to train students' comprehensive language skills and help them develop good language learning habits.
三、Learner Analysis
Students in Grade 8 have certain language foundations and learning abilities. They have learned some basic vocabulary and grammar, but they still need more practice and guidance to master and apply the language accurately. At the same time, students have different levels of English proficiency, so individualized teaching and differentiated tasks are needed to meet the needs of all students. In addition, students are usually interested in topics related to their daily life, so teachers can design teaching activities based on this to arouse students' enthusiasm and participation.
四、Teaching Methods
1. Task-based teaching method: Design various tasks for students to complete, such as filling in the blanks, completing dialogues, and writing passages, to help them consolidate the knowledge they have learned.

There are many stores there, and they are always filled with customers. This is a wonderful city. When my friends come to visit, I always have so much to show them.

A: How about 9 o’clock tomorrow morning at the gate of the Yuhua Gym?
B: All right. But how can I get there?

六、Teaching Reflection
Through this lesson, students have reviewed and consolidated the vocabulary and grammar of Unit 4. The various teaching activities and tasks have effectively stimulated students' interest and participation. However, in the process of teaching, some students still have difficulties in using the adverbial clause with "because" accurately. In the future teaching, more exercises and examples should be provided to help them master this grammar point. Also, for the writing task, more individualized guidance and feedback should be given to improve students' writing skills.
