一、Teaching Objectives

二.Textbook Analysis
This lesson is about Jenny's week, covering her activities after school, shopping experiences, interactions with classmates, and future plans. 三、Learner Analysis

四、Teaching Procedures
(一)Warming-up (5 minutes)
1. Start the class by asking students some questions: "What do you like to do after school or on weekends/holidays? Do you like to watch movies? What is your favourite movie?"
2. Encourage students to share their answers and have a brief discussion.
(二)Presentation (5 minutes)
1. Present the new words and phrases through context. For example, show the sentence "Danny introduced us to his new friend, Sandra." and explain the meaning of "introduce".
2. Have students read the text silently and underline the new words and phrases.
3. Explain the difficult words and phrases and have students practice using them in sentences.
(三)Reading Comprehension (10 minutes)
1. Students read the text again and answer the questions on the blackboard:
What did Jenny do after school today?
Who was on the same team as Danny?
Which team won the game? What was the score?
What will Jenny do next Sunday?
Who will come from the U.K. to stay with Jenny's family?
2. Check the answers together and have students correct their mistakes.
(四)Listening Practice (5 minutes)
1. Play the audio of the text and have students listen carefully.
2. Do the listening exercises in "Let's Do It!". Students tick the correct answers.
3. Check the answers and play the audio again if necessary.
(五)Language Practice (5 minutes)
1. Have students fill in the blanks with the words in the box in the exercise.
2. Ask several students to share their answers and explain the reasons.
(六)Writing Practice (10 minutes)
1. Ask students to write a letter to a friend, telling him or her something about their first two weeks of school. Provide some task tips and guide them on how to organize the content.
2. Walk around the classroom and offer help and guidance to students.
(七)Summary and Homework (5 minutes)
1. Summarize the key points of the lesson and emphasize the important language points.
2. Assign homework: Ask students to review the new words and phrases, read the text aloud, and finish the exercises in the workbook.
五、Teaching Reflection
