Have you every heard of the“dropping”? It is a Dutch scouting(童子军活动) tradition. Scout leaders drop children in a forest and expect them to find their way back to camp. It's not like the kids are left helpless. They wear bright colors. Adults follow them and the team leader takes a cellphone in case of emergency(以防遇到紧急情况). They also use maps or compasses to show the the way.
If this sounds impossible to you, it is because you are not Dutch. Dutch parents teach children not to depend on adults too much. They let children themselves solve their own problems. This is the idea behind the dropping.
Stijn experienced his first dropping when he was 11 years old. At home, he spent much of his free time in front of PlayStation. It was almost 2 a. m when Stijn and other children arrived at camp. The next morning, Stijn said that someday, when he had children, he wanted them to experience a dropping. “It shows you, even in very hard times, to keep walking, to keep going,” he said.
However, a parent questioned whether the dropping was really all that fun. “Think that you are lost and have no ideas about where to go. It could be 10 hours and even be the whole night. You just don't know. It is late and long and you are a little afraid,” she said. “I don't think it's a nice thing to do to kids.”

A. Every Dutch child needs to take part in it every year.
B. Children can use smart phones during their way back.

( )3. Which can we know about Stijn?
A. He used to play games from morning till night.
B. He planned to play computer games at camp.
C. He thought the dropping was very meaningful.
D. He didn't want to experience the dropping anymore.
( )4. What's the main idea of Paragraph 4?
A. Droppings are not as popular as before.
B. Some people think droppings are not good for kids.
C. Most children are afraid of the dark.
D. Most children feel scared in the forest.
