I started to feel more confident about myself because I had finally got away from small-town life, which was all I had ever known. (17) (19) Now I was in the capital city, and I started dressing better. With my new look, I felt more independent. I was living by myself, and I was starting my university studies, so I really felt like I was really working for my future. I loved that feeling because it was something I didn’t have in high school. I was finally able to be myself. I made my own decisions and I really enjoyed that time. I consider that as the time I really found myself.
