Do you feel nervous before and during exams? Are you afraid of exams? Learning to deal with stress is very important. Here are five steps to follow.
Arrive on time. Arriving late will make you feel nervous. Arriving too early will give you time to sit there and worry about things.
Plan your time. You should know how much time you will have in the exam, and how many questions there will be. Then plan your time to answer all the questions.
Don't waste time. If there are questions you don't know, what should you do? Don't spend too much time on it. Remember you have to answer all the questions.
Use all your time. If you finish the exam before time is up, don't just sit there. You'd better use the time to check your answers. It can help you make as few mistakes as possible.

When you visit a foreign country, it is important to know how 1 (ask) for help politely. For example, you may ask"Where are the restrooms?" or "Could you please 2 (tell) me where the restrooms are?" These are similar requests for 3 (direct). Both are correct, but the first one sounds less polite. That is 4 it is a very direct question. It is not enough to just ask a question 5 (correct). We also need to learn how to be polite when we ask for help.
Good 6 (speak) change the way they speak in different situations. The expressions they use might depend on 7 (who) they are speaking to or how well they know each other. It is all right to ask direct questions to 8 (you) classmates because you know them well. However, if you say to your teacher, "When is the school trip?", this might sound 9 (polite). But if you say, "Excuse me, Mr. West. Do you know when the school trip is?", this will sound much more polite.
Usually polite questions are longer. They include expressions such as " Could you please...?" or "May I ask...?" It sounds more polite to say, "Peter, could you please tell me your email address" than "Peter, tell me your e-mail address. " Sometimes we even need to spend time 10 ( lead) into a request.
