Dear Alice,
I'm sorry to hear that something about the scary movie makes your imagination run wild, giving you a sense of fear. Don't worry. I'd like to share some ways of overcoming fear.
As far as I know, being in the dark after a scary movie will add to the fearful mood. So you'd better turn the night light on at night, which may help you feel safer. What's more, doing something fun will be helpful as well. Call a friend to see if they want to hang out or enjoy a picnic with you. Whatever activities you choose should be enjoyable and relaxing. They can help you forget those things that once scared you. Besides, use laughter to clear out your fearful feeling. Just watch some movies or read some stories that make you laugh. My personal experience has proved it to be useful.
Please follow these tips. It won't be long before the scary movie is finally out of your head.
Yours,
Li Hua

Watching movies can be a good way for us to relax and deal with bad feelings. Today I would like to suggest a cartoon Skip and Loafer. Based on (根据)a Japanese comic (漫画) book, the cartoon has received high praise.
The story follows Mitsumi Iwakura, a high school girl who moves from her small town to the big city of Tokyo. Because of her growing environment, she has difficulty making friends with her new classmates. However, she communicates with others actively. She is so honest and kind that she is gradually accepted by her classmates. And she even becomes the most popular person in her class.
People around Iwakura are changing, too. For example, some teenagers made plans for every minute of their life. Influenced by Iwakura, they realize they have put too much stress on themselves and begin to enjoy the simple joy of life.
The cartoon touches many young people by showing teenagers’wish to make friends and the stress they face in new situations. From the cartoon, those with the same difficulty can learn some ways to deal with social relationships. It also heals(治愈) many people through its lively scenes. “I came across this cartoon during my dark days. It magically cheered me up!” a fan commented (评论).
