Section A 3a Mom Knows Best 课型 新授课 复习课□ 试卷讲评课□ 其它课o 教学内容分析 本课时是section A 第二课时，是一个阅读课。从课标看，主要是强调语言知识和技能，读和写的技能训练。从教材内容上看，这是一篇英语诗歌，是学生第一次接触诗歌。我们能根据文章的题目上预测诗歌内容。因此设计了一个选择题目，来预测诗歌内容。在朗读基础上，通过观察，能找到英语诗歌的两个特征。第一使用结构相同的句式。 When I was…/when I did …/ when I was…But…; 第二是使用押韵, 本诗歌共16行，分为三部分。第一部分叙述妈妈的爱，第二部分叙述对妈妈的误会，第三部分叙述对妈妈的理解。教学设计也是按照这三部分开展理解和朗读环节的。 对父母的话题容易和青春叛逆期的孩子产生共鸣，通过写诗歌的方式能达到练习写作的目的，让学生有感而发。 学情分析 九年级三班，大多数同学能基本了解文章生词和内容大意。对一般过去时和when 引导的句子，熟悉并能正确使用基本用法。比较容易对父母的话题引起共鸣。学生存在的普遍性问题：对英语诗歌没有概念，对诗歌的特征了解不具体，在写作的时候会无从下手，建议给一个仿写的例子。对现在分词crying 等用法不理解。 学习目标： 1.Be able to read and use the new words and phrases: teen; awful; tiny; field; hug; cry; badly; poem; regret; make sure; lift up; talk back 2.Be able to understand the poem Mom Knows Best. 3.Be able to realize the love from mom . 重难点： 1.Be able to read and use the new words and phrases: teen; awful; tiny; field; hug; cry; badly; poem; regret; make sure; lift up; talk back 2.Be able to understand the poem Mom Knows Best. 评价任务 Task1:finish the exercises by using the new words and phrases(Object1) Task2:Skimming：Answer three questions ,divide the poem into three parts and match the main idea.(Object2) Task3;Scanning：Read each part and finish different tasks .(Objects2,3) Task4:Read the passage again and understand the love from mom.(Object 3) 教学评活动过程 教师活动 学生活动 环节一:Show the learning objectives 教师活动 Show the learning objectives to Students 学生活动 Read the learning objectives by themselves. 设计意图:让学生知道本节课的学习目标以及需要达成的学习效果。 环节二:Pr-reading 教师活动 Show Students a picture and ask Students to guess who the person is, then ask Students what they think of their mother. 学生活动 Students guess the picture and understand their mother did so many things for them ,then talk about what they think of their mother. 设计意图:激发学生兴趣，为后边的情感提升做铺垫；同时为学生创造情景，学生在情景中学习，融入情景，自然流露，有感而发。 环节三:Skimming 教师活动 1.Ask the Students to look through the article and answer the questions.
