教学过程
Step1 Let’s watch: Watch and fill in the blanks.
Students watch a short a video and fill in the blanks with “I’ll”.
Step2 Let’s match: Help the workers complete their dialogue.
The teacher will tell students that it is going to get dark, so the workers will have a rest. Before having a rest, they will talk with each other, pleases help the workers complete their dialogue.
Step3 Let’s complete: Complete the guide’s diary with the correct form of the words in the box.
Students will complete the diary with the correct forms of the words in the box and understand the the importance of plants.
Step4 Let’s play: Help these expressions of time find their home.
Students will decide and choose the expressions of time about simple future tense.
Step5 Let’s complete: Read the guide’s diary and words again, and complete the interview with 1 or 2 sentences.
In the rainforest, the worker No.55 is interviewing the guide. The students will help them complete the interview with 1 or 2 sentences. They are going to use the simple future tense and understand the importance of plants deeply.
Step6 Let’s complete: Help the guide complete his dairy with simple future tense.
Student will help the guide complete his dairy with simple future tense and get to know what he is going to do to protect plants.
Step7 Let’s think
Student will think about what they are going to do to help plants. There will be two parts: show the importance of plants and show the plans to protect plants, which is what they are going to present at the end of the class.
Step8 Let’s summarize
Student will summarize the meaning and the structure of the simple future tense after experiencing a lot of activities.
At first, they will compare “will” with “be going to” and distinguish the difference between them.
Then they will be guided to pay attention to the structure of simple future tense in different sentences, such as assertive sentence, negative sentence, general questions and special questions of the simple future tense.
Step9 Let’s write
Students will write down at least 5 sentences to share their plans in protecting plants. And they can check their sentences according to the checklist.

· Write down your plans in protecting plants;
· Complete the worksheet.
Choose-to-do:
· Draw a mind-map about the grammar of simple future tense.
