Warming-up 1.1 Look and learn Listen and review the words. 1.2 Play a game When you see the word,please read it loudly. 设计意图：通过头脑风暴的形式复习单词，激发学生学习兴趣的同时也为下面的学习做了铺垫。 2. Look and say T:There are twelve months in a year,there are also four seasons in a year.In Beijing,February March and April are in spring,May June and July are in summer,August September and October are in autumn, November December and January are in winter. How’s the weather in April? Ss: It’s warm. T:How’s the weather in June? Ss: It’s hot. T:Make a dialogue by yourself. Ss: .... T: Different seasons different weather. 设计意图：将12个月进行四季划分，这样学生就能直观的根据季节与月份的对比进行具体月份天气的描述。 Step 2：While-reading 1. Show the picture about Jill and Amy,then introduce them. 2. Watch and answer Where does Amy live? Ss: She lives in Sydney,Australia. T：Do you know where is Australia? Show the map of the world. T: Can you find China and Australia? Ss: ... T: China is in the north, Australia is in the south,They are far away from each other.So they talk on the computer. 设计意图：通过地图直观展示中国与澳大利亚的位置，初步感知两国位置差异。 3. Listen and answer What are they talking about? Ss: They are talking about the weather. 4. Read and answer T: How’s the weather in April and May in China? Ss: It’s sunny and warm. T: How about Sydney? Ss: It’s windy and cool. T: How’s the weather in December in Sydney? Ss: It’s sunny and hot. 设计意图：通过问答，梳理文章重难点，为学生下一步填写表格理清了思路。 5. Read and complete Read the passage and fill in the chart.
