(2) What is/are+主语? 例如：What does Jack do? = What is Jack's job? = What is Jack? 2) 动词第三人称单数形式构成规则： (1)一般情况下，直接在动词的词尾加-s，例如：run-runs look-looks see-sees (2)以-s、-sh、-ch、-x、-o结尾的动词，一般在词尾加-es，例如：go-goes teach-teaches (3)以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，先变y为i，再加-es，例如：study-studies try-tries 注意以元音字母加y结尾的动词，直接在词尾加-s。例如：play-plays stay-stays 3) 常见动词变名词的方法： 英语中，在一些动词的词尾加上后缀-er、-r、-or 或双写末尾字母加-er可以构成表示职业的 名词。例如：work(工作)→worker(工人)，sing(唱歌)→singer(歌手)，write(写作)→writer(作家)， drive(驾驶)→driver(驾驶员)，dance(跳舞)→dancer(舞者)，act(表演)→actor(演员)，swim(游泳)→swimmer(游泳者)等。 但要注意的是cook是个例外，cook既可作动词，意为“烧，煮”，也可以作名词，意为“厨 师”；动词cook后面也可以加-er，即 cooker，意为“炊具、炉灶”，而不是“厨师”。 4) help 的用法： help 作动词时意为“帮助”，常见用法如下： (1)help+人名或人称代词宾格，例如：help Mike, help me (2)help sb.(to) do. sth. 帮助某人做某事，例如：help him (to) clean the room (3)help sb. with sth. 在某事上帮助某人，例如：help her with her lessons 5.动词teach： teach 意为“教”，是及物动词，可以直接加宾语，即teach sb./sth.；也可以接双宾语，即 teach sb.sth.，例如：Mr Lee teaches English in a primary school. 李先生在一所小学教英语。 Mr Lee teaches us English. 李先生教我们英语。 6.“What about...?”句型： “What about...?”一般用来谈论已经提及的话题，等同于“How about..?”，后面接名词、代 词或动词-ing形式。 例如：What about playing football? 踢足球怎么样? 听力训练 一、听录音，选出你所听到的内容。 ( ) 1.
