一、教材分析
本课是外研社新标准英语(一起)三年级下册第八模块第二单元的巩固课,Module 8 Unit 2《She's quite good at English.》本模块的话题是谈论和描述自己或者他人的性格特点和学科表现。本课的情景是Lingling的父母收到了Lingling的学业报告。学业报告显示Lingling的数学、英语、语文、体育成绩都不错,科学课也很努力,就是学习美术部不太努力。学科的单词,学生在2年级接触过,如English、Chinese,但是仅仅是单个的出现;本节课的内容是用be good at、work hard、try hard与学科单词组成简单句式描述学科学习情况,会出现第三人称单数形式,相对而言略有些难。通过本节课的学习,学生能够运用已学语言描述他人擅长的学科和弱势的科目;能够积极尝试使用英语进行自我和他人学科表现评价。
二、学情分析
三年级的学生已经有了两年多的英语学习经验,词汇上有了一定的积累,但大多数词汇都是在听、说、读、认的基础上学习、记忆的,缺少背写和运用的能力。三年级的孩子因为有了一定的英语基础,这个时候的他们对英语既熟悉也好奇,对于贴近于他们生活经验的事物兴趣更高。学生在本册书的第一模块学习过描述人物性格特点的词汇,如naughty、clever、nice等,在本模块的第一单元也学习了单词lazy、good的用法,能够在图片的提示下正确的描述人物特点。本课的语言综合性比较强,需要学生用已学语言评价他人的性格特点和学习表现,学生在能够读懂表格的基础上,复述学业报告单。
三、教学目标
1.语言知识目标:
语音:准确的认读quite,区别于quiet的音、形、义。
语法:a.全体学生会运用Sb be good at sth,Sb try hard at sth, Sb work hard at sth 这样简单的句式描述学科学习情况。
b.知道一般现在时情况下,动词try,run的单三变化。
词汇:全体学生能够理解单词quite,good at, English, PE, Chinese, art, report, try。
功能:全体学生能够运用本节课的词汇和句式描述自己或他人学科的学习情况。
话题:谈论自己或他人的学科学习情况。
2.语言技能目标:
听:全体学生能够听懂本课的单词和功能句子。
说:全体学生能够在老师,同学和图片、表格的提示下描述或讲述学科的学习情况。
读:90%以上的学生能够会熟练地认读正确的认读课文,理解并运用本课句式结构be good at,try hard at,work hard at。
写:80%以上的学生能够根据图片和报告单等形式传达学科学习表现,参考范例写出学科学习情况。
3.情感态度目标:
a.通过积极的参加课堂活动,学生能够正确的认识自我和他人的长处,建立自信,培养对英语的学习兴趣和自信心。
b.积极尝试使用英语进行自我评价及评价他人。
4.学习策略:
积极运用所学英语进行自我学业评价和对他人学业进行评价。
5. 文化意识:通过学习和交流能够初步注意到中外文化异同。
四、教学重难点
重点:学会运用be good at,try hard at,work hard at等词汇描述学科学习情况。
难点:1.quite的准确发音。2.在具体的语境和情境中正确的运用第三人称单数。

Step I . Warm-up and lead in
1.Greetings.
T: Hello boys and girls, I am Boinne. I am a nice teacher. I work hard. And I am good at English.
T: Are you good at English? S1:... S2: ....
2.The magic game
Let’s see who is good at English in our class. Go ! (闪现:clever,naughty,quiet,good,lazy, work hard, English, Maths, Chinese)
T: Wow,You are quite good at English. 学习单词quite.
T:Look, our friend Xiaoyong is quite good at English, too. But he is a bit quiet.(区别quiet和quite)
3.Look and say Activity 1
T: Look at this boy, He is Bob, What’s in his hand? S: It’s a _________. T:Yes, it’s a report.(学习单词report)
T: Let’s see is he a good boy? (播放动画)
T:Is he a good boy? S: Yes, he is.
T:How do you know? .(出示男孩手拿表格的图片,引导学生回答问题。 S: He likes...... He works hard.(板书学科单词,引导学生观察,学科单词首字母大写。)
T:Bob is good at English. What about Lingling? Can you guess? (教师挡上Lingling的report成绩描述部分的内容。)
S1: She is not good at English. S2:She is good at English.
S3:She’s very good at English. S4:She’s quite good at English.

T:You are quite good at English ,too. You work hard. We know Lingling is very good at English. But how about Lingling’s Maths, Science, PE, Art and Chinese?Open your English book and turn to page 47. Let’s listen and find.(点读笔)
(1).Fill the blanks.
