Michael Yellowlees set off to complete a 5,000-mile walk across Canada in the spring of 2021, wearing a kilt(超短裙)and carrying a few items in a handcart, including a guitar. The 32-year-old musician from Dunkeld, Scotland, walked from the shores of the Pacific Ocean to the east coast of Newfoundland on the edge of the North Atlantic with his pet dog, Luna, an Alaskan husky, by his side.
Speaking about the Scottish Highlands, Mr Yellowlees said, “It is a beautiful landscape, but with a strong sense of sadness because of the absence of woodland, wildlife and people. So I decided to walk across the great wildernesses of Canada to raise funds for Trees for Life, a Scottish rewilding charity(慈善), and its work to restore(恢复)Scotland’s Caledonian Forest.”

Restoring native habitats and wildlife to the Highlands is a big task that no one can do alone. But Michael’s extraordinary journey is proof that an individual can really make a difference.”

People become nearsighted because their eyeballs grow out of shape and light entering their eyes cannot focus correctly. __42 And guess what scientists have just discovered? Sunlight can help our bodies produce more dopamine(多巴胺), reported AFP.
According to the study, primary school students in Singapore spend only 30 minutes outdoors every day; However, in Australia, kids spend about three hours a day outside. As a result, fewer children in Australia are nearsighted—only 10 percent, compared with 90 percent in Singapore. “__43 They study and they watch television,” Ian Morgan of the Australian National University told AFP.“__44 As long as they get outside, it doesn’t seem to matter how much study they do,” Morgan explained. “There are some kids who study hard and get outside and play hard and they are generally fine. The ones who are at risk are the ones who study hard and don’t get outside. As a result of educational pressures and the construction of a child’s day, the amount of time they spend outside in bright light is minimized”.
Experts suggest children should stay outside for two to three hours every day. __45

Recently, news about the conflicts between parents and children frequently appear on the media. Why are the relationship between parents and children becoming so serious? It's my pleasure to share my opinions with you.
For one thing, they are lack of communication,so it's of great importance for parents to create more chances to talk with their children so that they can understand each other better. For another, because parents are always strict with their children and expect too much from them,it will cause misunderstanding between them. Therefore,it's necessary for parents to build up friendly and close relationship with their kids before expressing their expectations.Besides, parents' bad habits will influence their children badly. Thus, setting good examples for children is helpful to gradually develop their good habits.Last but not least, many parents are so busy at work that they don't have time to spend with their children. So it's necessary for parents to spare more time for their children to build up close relationship.
In short,to solve the problems, love and communication are very important .
