Natural Disasters Unit 7 英语3 基础模块 05 Grammar Focus 2 Grammar 在句子中起名词作用的句子叫名词性从句。名词性从句可分为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。 (一)主语从句 用作主语的从句叫主语从句。 主语从句主要有三类 (1)that引导的主语从句。 e. g. That you will win the medal seems unlikely. 你想获得奖牌看起来是不可能的。 e. g.That the answers are wrong is obvious to everyone.这些答案是错的是不言而喻的。 主语从句与表语从句 3 Grammar (2)whether引导的主语从句 e.g. Whether she is coming or not doesn't matter too much.她来不来都无关紧要。 e.g.Whether he will come today is still unknown.她今天是否会来还不知道。 主语从句与表语从句 4 Grammar （3)由连接代词 who,whose,whom,which,what,whoever,whomever,whichever,whatever和连接副词when, where, why,how引导的主语从句。 e,g. What you need is more practice.你所需要的是更多的训练。 e,g.Whatever we do is to serve the people.我们无论做什么都是为人民服务。 e,g.When we shall have our sports meeting is still a question.我们什么时候开运动会还是个问题。 e,g.Where we should leave it is a problem.我们应该把它留在哪儿还是个问题。 主语从句与表语从句 5 Grammar 注意： (1)主语从句用陈述语序。 (2)it作形式主语，而将主语从句放在句末（尤其是当谓语较短时）。 e. g. That light travels in straight lines is known to all. 众所周知光沿直线传播。 =It is known to all that light travels in straight lines. (当what引导的主语从句表示“……的东西”时，一般不用it作形式主语。) e. g. What he wants is a book.他想要的是本书。 主语从句与表语从句 6 Grammar (3)that引导的主语从句放在句首，不可省略that。主语从句用it作形式主语，真正的主语放在后面时，that可省略。 e. g. It's a pity(that) you missed such a good opportunity. (4)引导主语从句，不能用if,只能用whether。 (5)常见固定搭配： It is said that...据说…… It is reported that...据报道…… It is well known that...众所周知…… It is believed that...人们相信…… It is thought that...人们认为…… 主语从句与表语从句 7 Grammar （二）表语从句 用作表语的从句叫表语从句。 表语从句主要有四类 (1)that引导表语从句。 e. g. The trouble is that I have lost his address.麻烦是我把他的地址丢了。 (2)whether引导的表语从句 e. g. My question is whether he left(or not).我的问题是他是否离开了。 主语从句与表语从句 8 Grammar (3)连接代词 who,whom,whose,what,which,whoever,whatever,whichever;连接副词 where,when,how,why引导表语从句。 e. g. The problem is who we can get to replace her.问题是我们能找到谁去替换她呢。 e. g. The question is how he did it.问题是他是如何做此事的。 (4)because,why引导的表语从句。 e. g. That's because he didn't understand me.那是因为他没有理解我。(That's because...强调原因) e. g. That's why he got angry with me.那正是他对我生气的原因。(That's why...强调结果) 主语从句与表语从句 9 Grammar 注意 (1)表语从句用陈述语序。 (2)连系动词be,appear,seem,look等之后可以跟表语从句。 e. g. It was because he didn't pass the exam.那是因为他没有通过考试。 e. g.It seems (that) he was late for the train.看来他没搭上火车。 e. g.It seems to me that we should answer for this.在我看来，我们似乎应该对此事负责。 (3)whether引导表语从句不能换成 if，if不能引导表语从句。 e. g.
