Britain is the world’s first industrialized country, and London is one of the world’s first cities to experience smog. London was shrouded in a vast haze from December 4 to 9 in 1952. For two months, this haze caused an accident that killed 12,000 people. The British people realised that they had to take some actions to make changes. From 1953 till now, the haze control in London has lasted for about 70 years.
