Module 4  U1  Dad played the erhu.教学设计 一、教材分析 本课是外研社版小学新标准英语1起第8册，Module4 Unit1 Dad played the erhu. 本课是以Amy和Lingling讨论concert为话题，Lingling向Amy描述昨天她父母参加音乐会时所演奏的乐器，然后Lingling给Amy欣赏了一段中国传统音乐，Amy被深深地吸引了。本模块重点学习询问和描述过去发生的事情。 目标语句：What did they/ he /she play? Dad played the erhu. Mum played the pipa. 语法：一般过去时 功能：谈论过去发生的事 话题：music 二、学生分析 对于四年级学生来说，上学期已经接触了大量的过去时的学习，而且本册教材的第三模块也是针对一般过去时内容的复习，所以从时态的角度讲，本课对学生来说是比较容易的。但是本课侧重让学生结合一系列的生词（乐器）和词组（play the…），让学生了解中西方音乐、乐器方面的差异，以及对演奏乐器和球类运动描述的不同之处做比较。通过课件演示让学生直观的感觉、欣赏和练习巩固延伸过去时态的学习，同时，学生扩展视野，体会中西艺术与文化。 三、教学目标 1.语言知识目标: 词汇：听说读写单词CD；听说认读concert, Chinese 语句：学生用目标语句What did they/ he /she play? Dad played the erhu. Can you play the …? Did you play it yesterday? Ss talk about the instruments they can play. ⅡPresentation 1. Lead in I listened to a CD yesterday. It’s music of Chinese New Year Concert. I love the music very much. Do you know what did lingling did yesterday? 2. Listen and answer. T plays the CD-ROM, Ss listen carefully and try to answer the question above. T explain the word of concert. After this question, T asks Ss to try to ask a question about the dialogue. Ss ask the question: What did dad/mum play? / What did they play? T writes the sentences on the blackboard. 3. Listen, repeat and answer. T plays again, Ss read after the CD-ROM, they try to answer the questions. 4. Practice the drills. Ss practice in pairs or play a chain game in groups. 3-4 groups / pairs report. 5. Listen and guess. T shows the photos of two persons, Ss listen to the music and try to guess what they played. Then watch the video and say. 6. Read and answer. Ss read after T, then try to answer the questions: What does an erhu/pipa look like? Ⅲ Practice 1.    Read and underline. Ss read the passage together, and underline the words ending in –ed. Ss report, then try to summarize the use of play. 2.    guessing game.
