Module 5 Unit 1 We went to the Great Wall.
教材地位:本册教材是New Standard English Book 7,从本册书起,将开始复习前六册学习过的内容,重点巩固和强化表示过去式的行为和状态的语言。本册书二、三、四模块就已经开始对过去式的复习,但均为过去式的规则变化,从第五模块开始,要接触到一般过去时中动词的不规则变化形式。对学生来说是新的知识点。根据本模块的主要语言功能及语言结构,设计教学目标为:
1.知识目标:掌握动词过去式的不规则变化,go-went; eat-ate, buy-bought, see-saw,四会单词the Great Wall,目标语句We went to the Great Wall. We saw lots of mountains. We ate apples. We had a good time.学习三会单词climb, mountain。
2. 能力目标:在真实的语言情境中,谈论过去的一次旅行。
3. 情感目标:激发学生学习语言的兴趣,培养合作与创新精神。
重点:四会单词及目标语句。
难点:谈论一次旅行。
教具: 教材配套光盘,实物投影仪,an apple, a pear。
教学过程设计:
Step 1 : Warmer:
1. free talk. What did you do yesterday?
高蓉蓉老师建议采用第二模块所学的chant,既可以活跃气氛,又可以训练动词过去式的规则变化。
2. Look and say. T gives the verbs ending in –ed, Ss try to talk about the same point.(以ed结尾,是动词的过去式,是规则变化。) 为下一步学习动词过去式的不规则变化作好铺垫。
Step 2 : Presentation设计
1. present the task
T shows the calendar of October, tells them that Oct. 10th is a special day, and asks Ss why it is a special day. Ss may answer“秋游”,T shows the photo of the students, presents the new word, school trip. And then T presents the task, learn to describe a trip.
2. Listen and answer
T plays the CD-ROM, Ss listen and try to answer the question, where did they go? Ss listen and answer the question. T writes the topic on the blackboard, Ss read the sentence, first one by one, then check in pairs.
3. Listen, repeat and answer.
T plays again, Ss listen and imitate, then answer the questions, Q1: What did they do? Q2: What did they see? Q3: What did they eat? Q4 What did they buy? Q5 Did they have a good time?T writes the past tense of see on the blackboard. T shows the picture to explain the phrase, climb to the top, lots of mountains. T shows the pictures of some famous mountains, Ss watch, then try to describe what they saw.
丁岩建议:问题太多,学生听读一遍就回答,有难度,建议将其分割开来进行,降低难度。
A game after Q3: “水果达人秀”. T prepares some fruit, and asks several Ss to come to the front to taste it, then answer what they ate.
4. Read and circle
Ss read the dialogue after T, and circle the words, went, saw, ate, bought, had. T and Ss check and evaluate.
5. find friends
T shows the verbs, Ss find the past tense of these verbs, and chant, then try to fill in the blanks of the dialogue.
Step 3: practice
Talk about T’s family trip
T shows the photo of her family trip, Ss try to guess about T’s family trip.
Where did I go?
T shows the map of China, Ss guess in groups, then answer. Ss try to finish the sentence, I to Beijing.
What did I see?
T shows some pictures, after the pictures, Ss try to remind the places and describe by using “You saw…”
What did I eat?
T shows a word puzzle, Ss work in groups and try to talk about what the teacher ate. Report.
What did I buy?
Ss talk about the pictures of the presents.
Step 4 Production
Talk about the school trip.
T presents some pictures of the school trip and the main words. Ss talk about the trip in their groups first, then report.
Step 5 Cooler
1.Summary. T and Ss summarize what they’ve learnt today.
2.Homework. Listen and read the passage.
