In the future, we could all work and live in buildings with their own ecosystems (生态系统). They are made to produce more energy than they use.
Toby is an engineer from Europe. He has now made wonderful models, showing what this new building could look like.
He said he was suggested by a kind of tree to create the towers. The Hyperion, found in Northern California, is the tallest tree in the world, reaching 115m. The buildings will be 120m high and have 1,000 homes, offices and working spaces, gyms, restaurants and swimming pools.
Because of the ecosystems, the buildings will also make fewer diseases.

I don’t like holidays with hotels, beaches and swimming pools, and I’m not interested in visiting old cities. When I choose a holiday, I always have the same problem. I don’t want to go somewhere and see lots of other visitors. I want to be the only person there. The problem is there are other visitors everywhere these days. What about Antarctica (南极洲)? It’s large and beautiful. Between 1,000 and 5,000 people work there, but nobody lives there. It sounds great!

I have a fun and happy family . There are three people in my family , my parents and me .
My dad is always strict with me on my lessons . At weekends , he often asks me to do more exercise after I have finished the homework . And he often helps me work out the difficult problems . With his help , I usually study well at school . Though I lose plenty of time to play , I feel it meaningful . So I am grateful to my dad .
