Analyze the cause and effect of environmental problems as well as the importance of protecting our environment; (why) 3. Talk about and share ways to solve the environmental problems；(how) 4. Apply the 5 Rs to your daily life to start to take action to protect the earth. 教学重难点 教学重点： 1. Talk about the ways to protect the environment (5Rs). 2. Listen for the key information. 教学难点： 1. The 2 environmental protection projects. 2. The importance-reason-action and problem-solving logic. 教学过程 Step I：Review and lead-in 教师呈现智能新朋友Greg，通过quiz唤起学生关于环境污染种类和原因的已知，复习已知，引出环境保护的方法。 Step II: Presentation 1. Make choices教师呈现5组不同的选择，通过学生一起做出选择的过程中，总结出5 Rs,即5种日常生活中保护环境的方法，recycle，reduce，refuse，reuse和renew。 2. Listening. 把5 Rs运用在Julia和Jack关于环保绿色生活的谈话中，做1c和1d。通过听对话表达自己在日常生活中5 Rs哪些可以做到，进而积极加入环保行动，参与环保宣传，为环保贡献力量，实现绿色生活，与自然和谐共生。 Step III: Summary and homework 1. 通过世界地球日的logo和theme呼吁学生采取行动，了解保护地球的重要性以及环境问题的应对方案，具备构建“人与自然共同体”的自觉，树立人与自然和谐共生的价值观。 Earth Day 2022: Invest In Our Planet 2. Homework： Project 1. Design a mind-map to make more people know about the cause, effect and solution of environmental pollution as well as the importance of protecting our environment. Project 2.
