Section A 1a-2d 教学目标 By the end of the class, you’ll be able to: 1.identify some products and their raw materials by listening for the main idea and details. 2.talk about what products are made of and where they were made with passive voice. 教学重难点 教学重点： Students can identify some products and their raw materials by listening for the main idea and details. 教学难点： Students may find it difficult to talk about what products are made of and where they were made with passive voice. 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Play a guessing game with students to lead into this class. Justification: to engage the students into the class by guessing riddles. Step 2 Pre-listening Show some pictures of some things in our daily life and the pictures of their materials. Then ask students to match. Justification: to lead into the target language. Step 3 Listening Task 1 1.Play the recording of 1b and ask students to match the products with their materials and birthplaces. And check the answers by using the target language. (passive voice) Then listen again to get more details. 2.Make conversations about the things in 1b. Step 4 Listening Task 2 1.Show the picture in 2a first and have a prediction. Then listen to the recording in 2a for the first time and listen for the main idea. 2.Listen again and answer the questions in 2b to get more details. Then explain the difference between “made of” and “made from”: we use “made from” especially when the materials used to make something have been completely changed and cannot be recognized. And we use “made of” when the materials can still be recognized. Step 5 Speaking 1.Show the picture in 2d and talk about tea. Then play the recording of 2d to know more about tea. 2.Summarize the procedures of making a cup of tea. Step 6 Summary and Homework 1. Practice the passive voice. 2.
