S: Beijing,Xi’an,Shanghai, Guangzhou... T: Which do you think is the best city? S1: I think Beijing is the best city.It is the capital of our country. S2: I think Qingdao is the best, It is the most beautiful city. S3: I think Shanghai is the best.Because it is the biggest city. (The teacher discuss the topic about the best city with students.Students can express their opinions.) II. Teaching progress. Step 1：P4 First,the teacher shows several city pictures and discuss the the cities; Then ask students to make their own conversations with his or her partners. Next, ask some groups to show their conversations. Finally,read the normal sentences together. Step 2：Self Check 1 First,read the details with students . Then,do the exercise by themselves. (Give students five minutes. ) Next,ask students to answer the questions and check the answers.
