Show a mind map of the types of English sentences on the PPT.
Introduces simple sentences and basic usage of simple sentences.

Definition of a simple sentence
A simple sentence is one that contains only one subject-predicate structure.
Basic forms of simple sentences.
1). Subject + Predicate
2). Subject + linking verb + predicate
3). Subject + predicate + object
4). Subject + predicate + indirect object + direct object
5). Subject + predicate + object + object complement
6). There be sentence pattern
The classification and usage of simple sentences.
1). Declarative sentence: state an event or show the speaker's opinion or attitude.
2). Interrogative sentence
3). Imperative sentence: express request, command, exhortation.
4). Exclamatory sentence: a sentence used to express admiration, exclamation, joy, etc.

Step 3: Practical Writing—Notice
1. Introduce the meaning and function of English notice.
2. Format of written notice

3. Write the date of the notice in the lower left corner.

Common closing words for written notices are:
