John’s father Sameer is a reporter who works for China Daily.He goes around the world to report.Listen to the audio,and tell me what should Sameer take with? S：Listen to the world weather report.Choose the right clothes for John’s father. The teacher demonstrates the audio,then checks the answer and teaches the word:sunny. 2.Words learning:(let’s learn)(3min) A.The teacher shows the vedio in Moscow to the students and asks the question”What’s the weather like in Moscow?” S1:It’s cold. S2:It’s snowy.(将文本材料处理成听力材料，学生需要简单分析，之后组合答案） T：It's cold and snowy. Then the teacher shows the words (snowy,yellow,window) on the screen and teaches the sound and meaning of “snowy”. B.T：How about London?Watch the vedio to answer what’s the weather like in London? S:It’s rainy. . The teacher demonstrates the words(rainy,wait,paint )to help the students to read the new words.(温故知新，通过规律相似的单词发音从而领悟新单词。） C.T：How about Singapore？What’s the weather like in Singapore? S:It’s cloudy. The teacher demonstrates the vedio and the words(cloudy,mouth,outside) to help the students to read the word and understand the meaning. D.T:Our friend Chen Jie is in Beijing .Let’s voice chat with her. The teacher calls the voice chat,and talk with Chen Jie. T:Hi,Chen Jie.This is Stella. S:Hello,Stella. T:What’s the weather like in Beijing? S:It’s windy. T:Is it cold? S:No,it isn’t.Just now Mark called me,too. T:What are they talking about?Let’s have a look. B. T:Why does Mark think it’s cold in Beijing?(Tell the students the diffrences between Degrees Selsius and degrees fahrenheit.) T:°C and°F are two symbols of the temperature.The little circle is degree,and C stands for celsius;F is stands for fahrenheit.In degrees selsius ,freezing point is 0°C,while in fahrenheit it is 32 degrees fahrenheit;the boiling point is a hundred degrees selsius ,while in fahrenheit it’s 212 degrees.So Mark uses a different measuring system. Sarah:No,it’s warm in Kunming now.(展示学生的小组活动） After-reading:(creat conversation,2min) T:Look, this is Sameer‘s WeChat moment.Mark likes it,and he wants to post his photos on his moment,too. Mark:The world is so big,I want to travel like Sameer.GO and share on the moment. The teacher gives example,students practise and imitate.
