一、教材内容

(一)Warming-up
1. Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you!
Ss: Hello, teacher. Nice to meet you, too!
T: How are you today?
Ss: I'm fine, thank you. And you?
T: I'm very well, too.

2. Sing a song
Play the song "Hello" on the multimedia. Let the students listen and sing along with the music.

(二)Presentation
1. Lead-in
Show a picture of a schoolbag on the multimedia and ask: "What's this? Do you know?"

T: Yes, it's a bag. It's a schoolbag. We use it to carry our school things. Today we are going to learn some school things in English.

2. Learn the new words
Teach the word "bag"
Show a real schoolbag and say: "Look, this is a bag. Bag, bag. [bæɡ]." Let the students repeat several times.
Then ask a student to come to the front and hold the bag, and say: "You have a bag. I have a bag, too." Let the students understand the meaning of "have a bag" through this action.
Teach the word "book"
Take out a book from the bag and say: "What's this in the bag? It's a book. Book, book. [bʊk]." Hold up the book and let the students see clearly while repeating the word.
Ask the students to open their books and close their books while saying "Open the book. Close the book." to help them remember the word and understand its usage.
Teach the word "pen"
Take out a pen and say: "This is a pen. Pen, pen. [pen]." Show the students how to hold a pen and write with it in the air to emphasize the meaning of the word.
Let the students pass the pen around and say "pen" one by one to practice the pronunciation.
Teach the word "pencil"
Take out a pencil and say: "Look, this is a pencil. Pencil, pencil. ['pensl]." Pay attention to the pronunciation of the letter "c" and "i". Compare the differences between "pen" and "pencil" in appearance and pronunciation.
Ask the students to find the differences between a pen and a pencil in their own stationery boxes and say them out.

1. Listen and repeat

Ss: Bag, bag. [bæɡ]...

1. Let's talk

Encourage the students to answer in complete sentences. For example:
S1: I can see a book, a bag, a pen and a pencil.
S2: The girl has a book and a pencil.
S3: The boy has a bag and a pen.
Then ask the students to work in pairs and make dialogues based on the picture using the sentence pattern "I have a...". They can take turns to ask and answer.
For example:
A: What do you have?
B: I have a book and a pen. What about you?

1. Review the words and sentences

Then ask the students to make sentences with the sentence pattern "I have a..." using these words. For example:
T: What's this? (Point to the picture of a book.)
Ss: It's a book.
T: Can you make a sentence with "book"?
Ss: I have a book.
Repeat this process for each word.
