VICTOR on a Safari Victor and Tim are off on a safari. They are loading their Jeep with all the material they will need to find the king of the jungle, Leo the lion. Victor also takes his backpack with him. "What do you have in your bag?" asks Tim, curious. "It's a surprise," replies Victor. On their way, they come across numerous animals. "Move away!" shouts Victor at a herd of gnus that is obstructing their trail. Victor and Tim pursue their exploration of the savanna, but there is no lion to be seen around. "Look at these zebras!" shouts Tim, "they might tell us where to find Leo." "No," responds one of the zebra, "I have not seen Leo today!" A little bit later, our two friends meet Lea the giraffe. "Have you, by any chance, seen Leo the lion in the neighborhood?" "No," replies the giraffe, "but if you want, I can help you look by yourself." Victor helps Tim to climb on the top of the giraffe's neck… How tall she is! From up there, Tim can see all around. But he still can't spot the lion. Even Cyrano the rhino cannot help them. On the other hand, Victor admires the sharp horn which decorates the rhino's nose. Victor and Tim go back on the trail until they bump into a huge elephant. "Hello sir, could you help us, please?" "With pleasure, my friends!" he replies. And it's on the elephants' back that Victor and Tim continue their search. The elephants take Victor and Tim close to the lion who looks very dangerous. Tim is so scared that he hides behind Victor. But what is Victor hiding in his backpack? It's a surprise for Leo! Victor takes a lovely crown out of his bag. He made it especially for him! Proudly, he places the crown down on the king of the jungle's head. How majestic Leo is now with his crown on his beautiful mane!
