To stay healthy and fit, Chinese students do group exercises every day at school. Most of you probably do the same set of exercises. But some school exercises have grown popular online due to their local and innovative (创新的) designs.Let's check one of them out!
Singing in Sichuan dialects with energetic movements and unique mask-changing is not just a Sichuan Opera performance. It's the routine exercise for students of Mianyang Foreign Languages Experimental School in Sichuan Province.
“Sichuan Opera is a local opera, and it is now facing a gap in inheritance (传承).Therefore, we cooperated with Mianyang Intangible Cultural Heritage Center to create a simple and easy-to-learn Sichuan Opera exercise,” said Shen Junhua, who is in charge of organizing the school's exercise between classes.
According to Shen, this new type of exercise has been practiced since 2017 and has been popular among students. When students enroll (入学), they will spend several weeks practicing it.At present, almost all of the students and teachers have mastered it.
“In fact, we had hardly heard of Sichuan Opera before teachers taught us how to do the Sichuan Opera exercise,” said Li Yangwen, 14, an eighth grade student who also joined the school's Sichuan Opera club out of interest.“It's very different from normal exercises. After practicing it, we found it very beautiful and became interested in it.Now, almost all of the students look forward to our daily exercise time and feel excited to do it.”

A recent trend in the entertainment world is to adapt classic works of literature for either TV plays or the movies. One argument is that this is to everyone's benefit, as it introduces people to works they might otherwise never have experienced, while others say that turning books into movies not only cheapens the original, but is rarely done successfully. So what do you think?
In the past few years, we have seen several classic works of literature were adapted into movies. Many people believe that turning a novel into a film is a great idea, but some obviously think otherwise.According to the latter, translating classic works into movies destroys its originality and credibility. In my opinion, literary works can get translated into the screens effectively.
The main challenge that filmmakers face while turning a classic work into a movie is its imaginary world.Generally, the perception (见解) of the book's imaginary world differs from person to person. And it's quite challenging to put all these different perceptions in one frame. But modern technology has made this challenge achievable. For example, the filmmakers used visual effects to successfully adapt Jurassic Park movies so visually attractive that their perception of Jurassic Park changed. Therefore, literary works can be translated into films through technical means.
Also, while making a film, the main focus of makers always remains on the main plotline and characters. But for movies based on literary works, this issue is not there as these movies carry the same basic plotline as it is present in the books. Therefore, directors do not have to spend much time and imagination on the plot of the movie, which makes the adaptation quite easy.
Based on the above arguments, I believe that it is quite possible to make a beautiful movie based on a classic work using modern technologies and a writer's imagination.

Ⅱ.阅读七选五
Why Do Adults Love Animated Movies?
You go home from work. You are tired, and want to sit in front of the TV, watching something fun. Your children want the same. What is better than an animated film?
Both children and most adults love animation. Of course, there are animated movies that are directed specially to adults. 12 So, why do adults like cartoons so much?
They have well-written characters.
There are plenty of reasons. First and foremost, a lot of them are really good. 13 Screenwriters, designers, programmers and musicians are all working together to bring the best outcome to the big screen. And usually, they succeed.
Animated films have well-written characters facing complicated situations. Sometimes the scripts are even better than those in adult films. So, it comes as no surprise that animated films appeal to grown-ups as well.
14
Remember the time when you were a child and used to sit in front of the TV enjoying cartoons? Animated films bring out that specific feeling of our childhood. Moreover, they reveal our inner child. By watching an animated movie, we forget the monotony (单调乏味) of everyday life and leave our problems behind.
We love heroes.
Almost every cartoon has something to do with the journey of a character. A journey towards adulthood, or towards finding oneself, or succeeding in a quest. 15 A hero that overcomes all obstacles trying to find true meaning and happiness in his or her existence? Plenty of times, the characters in animated films are bigger-than-life and that's what we need in order to believe in humans again.
They are treats for adults.
Animated films are made for children, but sometimes film-makers decide to put something for adults as well: Shrek, for example, has scenes with a sense of humour that is addressed mainly to grown-ups. 16 And it's a really successful practice.
A.They bring out the child in us.
B.Anything can happen in childhood.
C.And who doesn't love a hero like that?
D.Talents work together in producing animated films.
E.We applaud those characters because they remind us of ourselves.
F.And there is also the chance that adults will love a kid's movie more.
G.It's a treat that aims to help parents enjoy their time in the animated films as well.

16.选G 根据本段小标题“They are treats for adults.”及空处上文“put something for adults as well”可知,G项的“It's a treat”与小标题呼应,且It指上文的加入成人元素这一行为,故G项符合语境。
