学情分析:
This lesson is taken from unit 2 grade 8, go for it. This is the first period.
The main topic of this unit is about free time activities. In this unit, students will talk about how often you do things.
According to the new curriculum standard and content of the textbook.
教学目标:
Knowledge objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to master the new words such as exercise, housework, go to the movie, and some adverbs of frequency such as usually, often, sometimes and so on.
Ability objectives:
After class, students can use the sentence patterns “what do you usually do on weekend?” and “I often do sth” to make conversation freely. Also, they can use the adverbs of frequency to talk about daily activities.
Emotional objectives:
Having learned this class, my students will learn to cherish the time and be more willing to talk about the daily activity in English.

Teaching key point:
Apply new words such as exercise, go shopping, as well as the adverbs of frequency.
Teaching difficult point:
How to use the expressions “what do you usually do on weekends?” and “I often do sth” to make conversation freely and use the adverbs of frequency correctly.
教学过程:
1. Lead-in
Show some pictures on the screen and say.Ask students to read the words
2. Pre- listening
1.Match the activities with the pictures(1a).
2.Let students watch a micro lecture and learn more about adverb of frequency.
3.Ask students to make a conclusion about the frequency words.
Frequency words:
always usually often sometimes hardly ever never
once a week twice a week three times a month every day
4.Ask:How often do you ...? 引出频率副词never ,sometimes, often, always等回答,
Ask:How often does he / she ...?引出表频率的短语once a month, twice a week ,three times a month 等来回答。
【设计意图】培养学生调查和总结归纳能力,有助于学生记忆知识要点并巩固所学。
3. While- listening
(1) Play the record, and ask students to finish the task in 1b.
Listen and number the activities [1-5] in the order you hear them.
(2) Lisren again and complete the blanks.
【设计意图】这一部分的听力设计了两个任务,一个是听后排列顺序,一个是搭配练习。两种听力题型既能巩固前面所学知识,又能训练学生听力技能。

4. Post-listening
Pair work. Let students use the frequency words to work in pairs.
