教学目标与要求
1.能听、说、读、写单词“wash”,“watch”,“do”,“read”和词组“wash my clothes”,“watch TV”,“do homework”,“read books”,“play football”。
2.能灵活运用句型“Do you often … on the weekend?”询问他人的周末活动。
3.能完成“Group work”部分的任务。
4.增加学生对彼此的了解,提高学生的团队意识。

Preparation准备活动
1. Let’s chant: Days of the week.
2.学生四人一组玩“句子接龙”游戏,如:
S1: What do you have on Mondays, S2?
S2: I have math on Mondays. What do you have on Tuesdays, S3?
S3: I have art on Tuesdays. What do you have on Wednesdays, S4?
S4: I have PE on Wednesdays. What do you have on Thursdays, S1?
S1: I have science on Thursdays.
3.由自己的“今天”的过渡到课本人物。回顾B talk中张鹏周末的活动转移到本节课的文本人物。
T: Let’s say about today. S: It’s sunny. I am happy. Today is Friday. I have…….
T: Tomorrow is Saturday, we can stay at home. Zhang Peng often play football. So how about his friends?
【设计意图:通过say the words and say about today 回顾旧知,并以小篇章的形式让学生将知识整合,随时输出,加强知识的整合性,并为新课做准备。通过Free talk自然过渡到本节文本的话题中。】

2. PPT呈现词汇和句型。

由B talk 内容引出张鹏喜欢周末踢足球。引出词组 play football.
板书句型并领读。在讲授词组是关注字母组合pl-,-all的发音; foot +ball=football
wash the clothes
T: Amy asks Chen Jie “Do you often…on the weekend? And she says “Yes, I do.” What does she do on the weekend? It’s an activity about the clothes.
引出词组。
板书句型并领读。结合自然拼读法强调wash 以及clothes 的发音和拼写。
read books
T&S: What do you often do on the weekend, Amy ?
师生齐问,强调本文重点句型。引出read books.
此词汇比较简单,着重突出books复数的存在。领读并板书。
Now look at the boy. We can’t see his face. But do you know who is he?
S: Mike. T: Let’s ask him together “What do you often do on the weekend?”引出watch TV.

1. Group work
(1)教师问:“What does Wu Yifan / Chen Jie / Oliver do on the weekend?”,学生根据三人的自述回答。
(2)将全班学生分成四人一组,一人问:“What do you do on the weekend?”,其他三人根据自己的实际情况回答。
2. Talk about our weekend.
给出主要句型和词组,让学生自由三人进行创编对话,并展示。
