课 题 英语(基础模块2) U1 Travel 5-6 课 型 听力 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2基础模块》Unit 1 travel的听力(Listening)板块,要求学生能对酒店订房对话有所熟悉,并能进行简单的英文订房。 本课对该单元听说及热身内容进行整合,以【房型选择】和【营救酒店房间里的老师】为主题进行旅游预定英语内容的学习。 学情分析 知识基础:本单元的主题为旅行。这一话题与学生的生活密切相关。但是学生对于酒店预定的英文表达并不熟悉,因此本节进行拓展,通过不同房型房间预定进行输出夯实。 认知能力:该专业学生存在两级分化现象,多数学生英语基础较差,对英语学习缺乏热情,需要从词汇起步,调动新颖灵活的方式开展教学,激发学生兴趣;学生普遍对本专业认同感强;需要搭建学习支架,结合专业进行授课,从而提升学生的语言自信和学习成就感。 学习特点:学生乐于小组合作探究,能够在合作中提出问题、解决问题;半数学生可以做到课堂表现活跃,与教师互动良好;多数学生对动手操作类互动兴趣较高。 学习目标 1. 学生能够认识英文订房中的不同房型和相关表述,double room, single room, twin rom, room rate, fully booked and room reservation. 2. 能够结合范本语句I’d like to book a non-smoking double room from October 2nd to 5th.和给定的关键信息完成旅游订房的电话描述; 2. 学生能够根据客人和工作需求进行房型推荐和预定,增强服务意识。 学习重难点 教学重点:能说出酒店订房的英文表述。 教学难点:能用英文进行酒店房间预定和服务。 教学方法 教法:讲练结合 学法:自主探究 课前准备 制作ppt 制作练习听力音频 教学媒体 教学资源:ppt、视频素材、音频素材、umu题库 教学过程 第一课时:Listening (Basic knowledge of room reservation) 教学环节 教师活动设计 学生活动设计 设计意图 活动一: Lead-in (教学内容:double room, single room, twin rom, king room) Lead-in Asking student “Which type of room have you lived when going to a hotel?” and sowing three kinds of room with their corresponding pictures. Answer the question and figure out the names of each type of room ppt/textbook 通过问答思考导入,引入学生生活常识从而引入新单词。 活动二: Words related to room reservation(教学内容: room rate, fully booked, male/female) Showing pictures of room booking thereby teaching the relevants words and phrases. Taking down notes of the key phrases and get themselves familiarized with them. ppt 听前活动将重点词汇短语先行学习巩固,方便听力顺利进行。 活动三: Game: Saving the teachers(教学内容:listening practice) 1. The teacher introduces the kidnapping game called “Saving the teachers”. 2. Asking students to tell the place by guessing the picture and then reviewing the previous knowledge by listening and choosing the correct order. 1.Looking at the scene and guess the place. 2. Recalling their memories and answer the listening questions about the preperations works. ppt 创设营救老师情境,从复习前面课时内容到循序渐进进入本课听力内容。 活动四:Practice (教学内容: different types of hotel rooms) Showing pictures of different types of room and letting studetns answer and discriminate. Students interact with the teacher by quickly answering the questions. ppt 通过酒店房间图片选择的方式进行酒店房型表达方式的巩固,加强练习,突出重点。 活动五:Practice and testing (教学内容: different types of hotel rooms) Playing the simplified version of the audio of the listening text and inviting students to tell the type of room that has been booked. Listening to the audio and figuring out the answer. ppt/audio 将书本听力做成营救老师任务使命感,增强趣味性,提升听力专注力。 课堂小结 作业布置 作业:预习书上第3页听力部分练习题,提前进行听力练习。 板书设计 Room reservation. Introducing the situation where more teachers have been kidnapped and they got trapped in different rooms, thereby asking students to do the listening practice and tell the room number of each teacher. Paying attention to the audio and answering the teacher’s questions concerning the exact room type and numbers. ppt 通过多段同结构音频反复练习学生对于关键句型的掌握能力,并将枯燥的练习置于有趣情境中。 活动二: The length and time of room reservation (教学内容:fully booked) The teacher introduces the booking phone call and telling students that “if today is October 5th will you be able to save your teacher?” This is to imparting on students the time lengh of the booked and how it is expressed. Listening to the audio and figure out the problem. ppt 通过将课本音频拆解进入课程探秘剧情中,提高学生对听力内容对接受程度。 活动三:travel agency consultance (教学内容:recommending scenic spots) Playing a video of the consultance procedure of traveling and then asking students to filling the blanks while listening to the audio. The content of the audio being: Can I help you, Sir? Sure, I’m interested in history and culture. Why not take a look at the 3-day Beijing Tour? I think it is suitable for you. What interesting places are included in the tour? A great many, such as Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall and the Forbidden city. 1.Watching the video and try to fill in the blanks while listening to the audio. ppt/video 通过给出写作框架,指导学生进行旅行准备的文章撰写。反复夯实调理写作的方法,以及变换句式进行表达的意识。 活动四: Reviwew and dialogue presentation(教学内容:travel consuling dialogue) Randomly selecting 2-4 students (2 groups) to read the dialogue passages and other students mark on their preformances. Doing the presentation. ppt/textbook 请学生上台展示旅游对话,锻炼学生口语输出能力,帮助老师进进行及时纠错。 活动五: 课堂小结 作业布置 作业:参考课本Group work 环节,为两位外国友人规划北京之行出行地点,并撰写对话。 Staff: Can I help you, Sir?
