课 题 英语(基础模块2) U1 Travel 1-2 课 型 读写 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语2基础模块》Unit 1 travel的口语(Speaking)板块,要求学生能对旅游景点进行介绍,并能根据客户需求为其推荐合适的旅行路线。 本课对该单元听说及热身内容进行整合,以【一个万能句型介绍旅游景点】和【开办旅行社】为主题进行旅游英语内容的学习。 学情分析 知识基础:本单元的主题为旅行。这一话题与学生的生活密切相关。学生普遍对于不同的风土人情十分感兴趣,且绝大多数学生都有国内外旅行经历。学生知晓个别国家和著名景点的表达,但尚不能用英语简要做景点介绍,更无法准确地向他人介绍旅行景点的特色。 认知能力:该专业学生存在两级分化现象,多数学生英语基础较差,对英语学习缺乏热情,需要从词汇起步,调动新颖灵活的方式开展教学,激发学生兴趣;学生普遍对本专业认同感强;需要搭建学习支架,结合专业进行授课,从而提升学生的语言自信和学习成就感。 学习特点:学生乐于小组合作探究,能够在合作中提出问题、解决问题;半数学生可以做到课堂表现活跃,与教师互动良好;多数学生对动手操作类互动兴趣较高。 学习目标 1. 学生能够结合范本语句be famous for和给定的关键信息完成旅游目的地的描述; 2. 学生能够根据客户出行需求,推荐合理的出行旅游产品; 3. 学生能够了解和进行国内外一些著名旅游目的地的概况描述,对中国著名景点表达有所熟知并引以为豪。 学习重难点 教学重点:能准确描述旅行目的地概况。 教学难点:能根据客户需求推荐合理的出行产品。 教学方法 教法:讲练结合 学法:自主探究,角色扮演 课前准备 制作ppt,制作景点图片卡片并剪裁为教具,准备要播放的视频 教学媒体 教学资源:ppt、视频素材、音频素材、纸质教具、umu题库 教学过程 第一课时:Warming up (热身及旅游景点介绍万能句型) 教学环节 教师活动设计 学生活动设计 设计意图 活动一: Lead-in (教学内容:the Great Wall pyramids ,snow mountains sushi) Lead-in Showing pictures of the specialty in four different countries and inviting students to match them together Matching the pictures and the countries together according to their common sense ppt/textbook 通过课本热身环节匹配练习导入,从学生常识已知切入方便学生接纳新知。 活动二: The topic sentence(教学内容: xx(地名) is famous for its xx(特产) ) Introducing the topic sentence of this lesson, which is “xx(地名) is famous for its xx(特产) ” thereby connecting the name of the country with its specialty as shown in the lead-in session. Taking down the topic sentence and the teacher’s example sentence. ppt 通过重点句型将第一阶段两类词汇进行串联,突出本课重点句。 活动三: New knowledge(教学内容: the Great Wall,hot pot, Peking duck) 1.Giving students each a piece of paper printed with city names and their specialties so that they can draw the matching line. 2. The teacher then shows how the two elements can be linked together by the topic sentence and ask students to try by themselves. 1.Matching the cities with the corresponding picture. 2. Learning how to make sentences and try to write one complete sentence down. ppt/paper clips 展示美味特产图片吸引学生进行特产匹配,再次运用重点句,突破难点,增强民族文化熏陶。 活动四:Topic sentence (教学内容: Jiuzhaigou Valley is famous for beautiful views) Introducing the expressions including “beautiful views, long history and delicious taste” as new knowledge and inviting students to make sentences using these expressions. Taking notes to record the expressions and write down their own versions. ppt 补充抽象短语,进一步加深重点句型理解,拓展表达宽度。 活动五: Exploring (教学内容:Sichuan is famous for Jiuzhaigou Valley/hot pot. 四川以xx著名 ) 1. Showing some typical sentences using the structure ”xx is famous for xx”. 2. Inviting students to think of a famous dish and its oringing, and then making sentences to express the speacialty. Paying attention to thesample sentences and write one of their own version. eg:French(法国的) cuisine(烹饪) is famous for its __escargot_. ppt 通过结合学生喜爱的各地美食特产以及学生专业,鼓励学生介绍名菜出处,增强句型的实用性和与学生的关联性。 课堂小结 作业布置 作业:预习课本speaking 部分对话。 板书设计 第二课时 Role play (Mini travel agency) 教学环节 教师活动设计 学生活动设计 设计意图 活动一: Lead-in (教学内容:a popular song) Lead-in 1.Inviting students to listen to a song and tell what you feel like. 2.Asking students where they can find travel information and where they can inquire about traveling information. 1.Listening to the song and try to capture the feeling in it. Students answer the question “Where do you go to for travel products?” ppt/song 歌曲带入旅行氛围和主题,发问学生哪里可以获取旅游信息和旅游产品线路。 活动二: Task assigning and Role palying (教学内容:a dialogue in the travel agency) 1.Telling students that the task for today is to run a travel agency 2.Reviewing what have been learnt in terms of the countries and the specialties. 3. Presenting and practicing the opening session of the dialogue. 1.Collecting the cards and write on the back of the cards 2.Reviewing what have been learnt 3.Imitating the dialogue using the words on the card. ppt/textbook/paper clip 通过拿取旅行社客服人员/顾客身份卡牌和景点标示卡牌,模拟旅游咨询场景进行初步开场对话练习,道具提升学生注意力。 活动三: Role playing (教学内容:Staff: Can I help you, Sir? Parry: Sure, I’m interested in China and I like Chinese food. Staff: Why not take a look at the Sichuan Tour? Parry: I’m wondering what attractions(景点) are included in the tour? Staff: A great many. 。。。 Parry: Sounds great! ) 1. Reading the dialogue and asking students to imitate the dialogue one by one. 2.Asking students to practice the dialogue in pairs and inviting 2-3 groups to present in front of the class. 1.imitating the dialogue one by one following the teacher’s pronounciation 2.Practicing the dialogue in pairs. ppt 通过二选一选择旅游地,考察学生对服务场景的应对能力,练习对话,夯实本课重点。 活动四: Reviwew(教学内容:key information) 1. Look at the pictures mentioned in this lesson and asking studnets to tell the meaning in Chinese. 2. Removing the pictures and inviting students to tell the meaning in Chinese again.
