The teacher introduces the lesson with video of modern and traditional living ways for people in China. 2. The teacher introduces different lifestyles with illustrated pictures. 3. The teacher leads students to think talk more about: 1) What is your NEW way of life? 2) Is this new modern way better/worse? Why? Say something more they know about the disaster. Discuss how to say these modern/old ways of life in English. Discuss in groups. Guide them to observe the differences and get a general idea. Help the students to learn new expressions.
