Ⅱ. 阅读理解
I’m on the road for my job and have seen lots of accidents.
One day, I was heading to a far-away town. To get there, I had to take a busy
road that had a lot of blind curves(弯道) and hills. I made my way around a curve
and down a hill when I saw a car in my lane(车道) suddenly move into the other
lane. It caused the cars in the other lane to slam(猛踩) their brakes(刹车). In
return, the cars behind them slammed their brakes as well. Still, some of the cars hit
each other and caused accidents on the road.

Ⅲ
After a while, things were almost cleaned up. All the cars drove away. Still, I
saw a big rock lying in the road. I thought I’d move it to stop similar accidents from
happening again.
And just as I got out of my car to pick it up, I saw a guy on the other side of the
road running along the highway(公路) to pick up the same rock. The rock wasn’t in
his lane and he still picked it up.
I guess it was just nice to see someone else go out of their way to do something for
other people, knowing he wouldn’t get a thank you.
So thanks man, whoever you are.
