模块同步语法专项
在复合句中起时间状语作用的句子称为时间状语从句。时间状语从句由表示时间的引导词引导，位置灵活，放在句首或句末均可。注意以下几个引导词的用法。
►when，while引导的时间状语从句
与while相比，when所引导的从句中，动词既可以是延续性的，也可以是非延续性的；while所引导的从句中，动词只能是延续性的。eg：
When the fire broke out，all the students were sleeping quietly.
The telephone rang while I was taking a bath.
►until引导的时间状语从句
用于肯定句中。主句常用延续性动词。eg：
I will wait until you call.
如果是否定句中，not...until...表示“直到……才……”，主句通常可用非延续性动词，也可用延续性动词。eg：
She didn't leave until you came back.
We don't know what is good until we have lost it.
►before与after引导的时间状语从句
before意为“在……之前”，表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之前；after意为“在……之后”，表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之后。eg：
We cleaned the classroom before we left school yesterday.
He called me after he finished his homework.
►as soon as引导的时间状语从句
as soon as表示“一……就……”。由as soon as引导的从句应用一般时态替代将来时态。eg：
I will tell him the news as soon as he comes back.
►since引导的时间状语从句
since意为“自从……以来”，其引导时间状语从句的用法主要有两种：
①主句(现在完成时)＋since从句(一般过去时)。eg：
He hasn't been home since he graduated.
②It＋is/has been＋一段时间＋since从句(一般过去时)。eg：
It is two years since I became a university student.
