英语 九年级上册 冀教版 练闯考 单元同步语法精讲精练 before，after，as引导的时间状语从句 1．before作连词，意为“在……之前”，用在主从复合句中引导时间状语从句。 (1)如果主句中使用一般过去时或过去完成时，在从句中使用一般过去时。 Lily had written some letters before she went out shopping.莉莉在出去购物前写了几封信。 Many people left for home before the film ended. 电影尚未放完，许多人就起身回家了。 (2)如果主句中使用一般将来时，在从句中使用一般现在时表示将来。 I will finish my homework before you come back. 你回来之前，我会把作业写完。 2．after作连词使用时，意为“在……之后”，和连词before互为反义词。 (1)after用作连词引导状语从句，通常用一般现在时表示将来。 She'll telephone me after she arrives.她到达后将打电话给我。 (2)after多用于过去时态的主从复合句中，从句含有“过去发生”的意思。 After he sat in the classroom, he began to read books.他在教室里坐下后就开始读书。 【注意】我们也常用 “after＋动词­ing” 结构代替时间状语从句的功能，但主句和从句的主语要一致。 He wrote his first book after visiting Mongolia.他参观完蒙古后，写了他的第一本书。 3．as引导时间状语从句，意思是“当……的时候”，通常从句使用进行时态，此时同when/while；表达 “随着……”的意思时，从句的动作表示持续。 As time goes by, his illness is getting worse.随着时间的流逝，他的病情也渐渐恶化。 跟在名词或代词后起修饰限定作用的句子叫作定语从句。被修饰的词叫先行词，引导定语从句的词叫作关系词。定语从句不同于单词作定语的情况，它通常只能放在先行词之后。 1．who在从句中作主语或宾语，指代的先行词为人，作宾语时通常可以省略。 Is he the man who wants to see you？他就是想见你的人吗？ 2．that在从句中作主语或宾语，指代的先行词既可以是人，也可以是物，作宾语时通常可以省略。 Can you help me find the pen (that) my father gave me? 你能帮助我找到我爸爸送给我的那支钢笔吗？ 【注意】①当先行词既有人又有物时，关系词只能用that。 We know nothing about the doctors and the hospitals that you are talking about.关于你们正在谈论的医生和医院我们一无所知。 ②当先行词前有形容词最高级、序数词或only等词修饰的时候，关系词一般用that。 This is one of the most interesting films that I have ever seen.这是我曾经看过的最有趣的电影之一。 一、单项选择。 ( )1.Bob, dinner is ready.
