第六课时(B. Start to read & C. Project & Reading time )
教学目标
1.会听说读单词:new, cold, love, beautiful, big, give, happy;掌握句型:... need ... I give ... to ...;能阅读和理解英语语篇,提取语篇所传达的重心思想。(语言能力)
2.通过阅读图片和音频等获取阅读的中外文化信息;听音频,根据音频内容理解题目信息,提取重要知识点。(文化意识)
3.培养主动了解语篇信息的能力;能根据图片或关键词,归纳语篇的重要信息;就语篇信息主动形成自己的想法和意见。(思维品质)
4.培养阅读英文绘本的习惯;能在学习过程中积极思考,并尝试解决语言习题。(学习能力)

· Warm up
1. Let’s chant
T: Do you remember the chant we have learnt?
Ss: Yes!
T: Let’s chant together!

2. Revision
学生开火车,读出上节课学的单词。根据速度,准确,洪亮与否,选出优秀列。
· Lead in(课前引入)
T: If you have a garden, what fruit trees will you plant? Why?
S1: 梨子树。我可爱吃啦!
T: Nice idea! Anything else?
S2: 我会种葡萄树,可以乘凉,葡萄又多有好吃。
T: Agree with you. Anyone else?
S3: 我会种苹果树,苹果很健康。
T:Good thinkers. Our friend wants to plant an apple tree. Let’s start our story.

Step 2 Presentation&Practice
通过布置任务和引导,培养学生的阅读能力,养成快速阅读,把握主题大意的好习惯。
通过布置任务,在学习故事前,解决生词难题,再来快速浏览语篇,让学生对语篇有初步印象和理解。
通过听和读的练习,提高学生听和读的能力。
不局限于语篇内容,培养孩子们发散自己的思维。
通过完成项目式任务,孩子们全员参与轻松愉快的课堂学习,既及时巩固所学,又获得了学习成就感,事半功倍。
· Presentation
Start to read
T: We want to plant some fruit trees. And what do plants need?
S1: Air and water.
S2: Sun!
T: Good job. Plants need air, water and sun. They help plants grow.
(教师带读并请学生用完整的句子输出。此句在上节课学习过,进行复习巩固即可。)
T: Plants can give us many things. What can plants give us?
Ss: Fruit!
T: Yes. Wonderful! Plants give us some fruits. We need plants, and we can help them too. Now look at this picture.(呈现B Start to read板块图片,并让学生进行讨论。)What fruits do you see? What does this fruit tree need?
Ss: ...
Circle the things you see in the picture.
T: Just now we know fruit tree need air, water and sun. Now we can see a lot of plants. (点学生起来读出题干的四种植物)
T: And plants can give us somethings.
S1: Flowers.
S2: ...
T: Yes. Now circle the things you see in the picture. Then talk about a plant with your partner. (让学生自行两人一组谈论)
Reading time
1. Pre-reading
学生快速自读绘本一分钟,圈出生词。
T: Please circle the new words. And tell me.
Ss: new, cold, love, beautiful, big, give, happy
T: Great! Let’s learn this new words. 老师出示图片,做动作帮助学生理解意思,老师教读单词。然后两人一组,互读单词,又迅速又准确的小组获胜。
T: You call did very good job. Now please scan the story and try to know what happened.
2. While-reading
(1)Listen and match.
教师播放音频,学生需将图片排序,然后一起核对答案。
(2) Read and answer.
Read carefully in 4 students group for 2minutes, and find answers. Q1:What do they do? Q2: What can the apple tree give?
T: Now do you know the answers? Let’s check together. Q1:What do they do?
S1: Water and help the tree.
T: Great! Where do you find?
S1: Picture 1, 2 and 3.
T: Do you agree with them?
Ss: Yes.
T: Well done. Clap for them. Q2: What can the apple tree give?
S2: It can give flowers and apples to the family. We find in picture 4 and 5.
T: Right?
Ss: Yes.
T: Bingo. Thank you.

(3)Listen and read.
教师播放音频,学生跟读,注意语音语调。
(4)学生们多人一组,每组中选择学生扮演小树和男孩,注意发音,表情和动作。教师找三组上台展示,评出优秀组。
3. Post-reading

两人一组讨论,并记录下来,找学生展示。
S1: 除草。
S2: 施肥。
S3: 修枝。

T: 大家总结的很全面,不光是种树,任何事情都是有付出才有回报,正所谓我“种瓜得瓜,种豆得豆”,在英语学习上我们也要认真对待,找到适合自己的方法去努力,也终会开花结果。
· Practice
Project: Make a paper garden
1. Listen and match
T: What fruit can you see?
Ss: Apple, grapes, orange and bananas.
T: Yes. And which fruit do the children like? Let’s listen and match.
教师播放相关音频,学生完成习题后分享答案。
教师再次播放音频,师生核对答案并跟读。(可再次让学生进行句子输出。)
2. Discuss in your group
Four students in a group discuss:
①What do fruit trees need?
②How can we help?
③What can they give us?
(小组讨论后,请学生来分享答案)
T: Now we can write down letters in the picture.
3. Make your paper garden
教师分发A4白纸,彩色卡纸,剪刀等。PPT展示纸花园成品,学生4人一组,集思广益,设计小组花园并一起进行制作。(教师可在网上寻找制作纸花园的视频,带领学生一起完成)
4. Share your paper garden in the class
教师首先PPT呈现Sarah和所给示例纸花园。输出句子:This is my garden. The apple tress need air, water and sun. We can help them ...
然后选择三个小组进行分享。
参考单词:trees, flowers, sun, air, water, bananas, orange, grapes ...
参考句型:This is my garden. ... need ... We can help ...
教师根据最佳创意,色彩搭配和绿色环保三个类别,选出优秀作品,放在教室内展览。
5. Self-assessment
T: You finished tasks, big hands for yourselves. Let’s make a self-assessment. How many starts can you get?
1. I can talk about fruits I like.
2. I can name some plants.
3. I can say how we help plants and plants help us.
4. I can read, write and say Mm, Nn, Oo and Pp.

Step 3 Consolidation&Extension
通过两个有趣的任务操练句型,鼓励学生勇于展示,学会团队协作。
· Consolidation
1. Let’s dub
学生四人一组。选择不同的图片。三人针对图片来表演,可根据想象自行增加设定或者情节,一人来配音。
教师选择少数小组进行表演。最后选择最好的一组进行表演,同学们来配音。
2. Number the sentences
教师将故事中的句子乱序,学生来排序。最后组成完整的段落。(如果整个故事排序较难,可以两张图片或者三张图片一起进行排序)
Step 4 Summary&Homework
通过基础和拓展性作业,学生既巩固新知,学会阅读,并获得和父母交流沟通的计划,加强家庭凝聚力。
1.小结: 教师生根据板书进行小结。

教师做总结,想要从植物那收获鲜花,果实,我们也要付出劳动,培育和爱护植物,我们需要维持植物生存,我们可以帮助植物成长,我们互利共生,缺一不可。
2.作业:
①听音频,熟读故事,并给家人复述故事内容;
②查找一本关于果树的英语绘本,查字典阅读,下节课推荐给同学老师;
③和父母讨论种植果树的过程和需要做的事情。

反思
这一部分,对小部分孩子较困难,老师要注意循序渐进,传授阅读技巧,方法,帮助孩子们克服心理障碍,突破自我,在英语学习上更上一层楼,养成坚持看英语绘本的好习惯。
