Ask students to look at the picture and discuss the questions. ·What is the name of the vessel? ·What do you know about the vessel? 2. Ask students to visit the website(www.kepu.gov.cn) to learn more about deep-sea research made by Kexue. 3. Ask students to make a list of the new words they came across and figure out their meanings with the group members. Have them turn to the teacher for help if necessary. 4. Ask students to skim the brief introduction to the video and get to know the theme of the video. 2.
