1.Show the picture to the Ss and ask them to complete the sentences with the words in the box.

1.pair n.双;对;副
常见用法:a pair of+复数名词,意为“一双/对/副......”,作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。
2.辨析no与not
no作副词,常用来对一般疑问句作否定回答,可单独使用,反义词为yes。
【拓展】no还可作形容词,用于名词前,表示“没有”。
not作副词,常位于系动词be、助动词或情态动词后,构成否定结构,不可单独使用。
3.need V.需要
常用表达:need sb./sth.需要某人/某物;need to do sth.需要做某事。
4.Oh,wait a minute.哦,等一下。
wait作动词,意为“等待;等候”。常用结构:wait for sb./sth.等待某人/某物;can't wait to do sth.迫不及待做某事。
