Based on(基于) this mind⁃blowing success, here’s a practical guide that you can learn something from to spend your weekends alone.

You can stop to appreciate every beautiful flower you pass, and hear all the sounds of nature.

Get the menu and order your favourite food. As you don’t have to share it with anyone else, you can order as much food as you want.
Take a shopping trip alone
Bring down shopping stress by taking the trip alone. Other people can slow you down or make you hurry up, and you may miss the best things.
Take a relaxing trip alone and take your time trying everything on: you are likely to have a great day and find something you love.
Watch a TV show you love

Although I can't make breakfast, I can have it at school. I can't wash clothes, but I can send them to the laundry. I can't wash my dog alone. It's so difficult that I can't do it alone.

Turn off the TV!
turn off意为“关掉”,其反义短语为turn on(打开)。
Don’t forget to turn off the light before you go.
turn on/off/up/down都是“动词+副词”构成的短语,
If you don’t use the computer, turn it off.
五.be worried about的用法
Although my parents were very worried about leaving me, they
had to go away on business for a few days.
They are worried about their small business.
Don’t worry about me.
The teacher asked me for my homework, but I could not hand it in.
Can you help me to hand them out?
六.so...that...和such...that...
(1)so...that...和such...that...
She is so beautiful that many people like her.
It was such a fine day that nobody wanted to stay at home.
(2)“so...that...”和“such...that...”
He is so young a boy that he can’t go to school.=He is such a young boy that he can’t go to school.
Although the sun was shining, it wasn’t very warm.
Although he is rich, he is not happy.
Though we had tried our best, we lost the game.

How to spend your weekend alone without losing it
There are many stories behind weekends I have spent alone. During the four years that I’ve been living on my own, I’ve achieved the “feat”(壮举) of spending 208 weekends alone. Based on(基于) this mind⁃blowing success, here’s a practical guide that you can learn something from to spend your weekends alone.
Go to a free gig(现场演出)
Coffee shops, libraries and local places often host free gigs. You can see if there is anything going on in your area this weekend. Concerts can actually be much more rewarding(令人收获的) when you go alone.
Go on a long walk
Going for a long walk and experiencing nature is often more enjoyable if you are alone, as it is peaceful and relaxing.
You can stop to appreciate every beautiful flower you pass, and hear all the sounds of nature.
Order your favourite take⁃out food
Get the menu and order your favourite food. As you don’t have to share it with anyone else, you can order as much food as you want.
Take a shopping trip alone
Bring down shopping stress by taking the trip alone. Other people can slow you down or make you hurry up, and you may miss the best things.
Take a relaxing trip alone and take your time trying everything on: you are likely to have a great day and find something you love.
Watch a TV show you love
The best part about watching television alone is that you can watch whatever you want. Put on your comfortable clothes, get some food and put your feet up for hours of watching.(E9104003)

1. so ... that ...

David was running so fast that he couldn’t stop himself.
2. although / though
