At the end of the class, students are expected to
1. Master the vocabulary and phrases related to the daily activities of the family with the help of album.
2. Learn how to describe appearances and actions of family members in family photos by listening, viewing and speaking.
3. Use personal pronouns and the present continuous tense to describe the appearance and actions of family members, and continue the conversation with raising questions and making comments.

1. Look at the photos and answer the questions:
Who are they?
What are they doing?
2. Match the notes (A-E) with the photos (1-5).
3. Add notes to the other pictures.
4. Show students’ family photos and describe actions in them.
5. Listen and circle the members they’re talking about in the photo.
6. Read the conversation after the recording.
7. Read again and think about questions:
1)How does Bailing start the conversation?
2)What questions does Bailing raise in the conversation? What comments does she make?

8. Describe other family members.
